History of the Blogs Chapter 4: "And the 'Rhythm' was Played"

The success of The Rock Land didn't stop! It continuously grows and develops. And the most important thing, it gives birth to other more famous sites!

Next to The Rock Land is the hit music and lyrics site known as the "Rhythm of the Rock! And this is its history...

Rhythm of the Rock Today

It was Wednesday, April 23, 2008 when the Rhythm of the Rock was created! It actually derived or came from my Bits of Rocks segment "Rhythm of My Heart". Its first ever post was the song "Borrowed Time" sung by the hit Pinoy band Cueshe. This is the ending song of my college love affair. So I posted it together with my romance story.

The URL of Rhythm of the Rock is rockyrics.blogspot.com. "Rockyrics" is actually a combination of two words. It stands for "rocky" and "lyrics" since it features the lyrics of my theme songs. In every post, they is always a lyrics of a song. Of course, there is a story, my personal stories behind these songs!

And also, you may notice that the post titles were actually the title of the song itself!

The next post after "Borrowed Time" was "Go The Distance" which was actually taken from my Friendster blog "Bits of Rockz" under the "Rhythm of My Heart" category. "Go The Distance" was my theme song to my former love story in my second job!

After "Borrowed Time" and "Go The Distance", no more posts followed! Only these two posts were my posts published in the year of 2008!

But one year later, April of 2009, Rhythm of the Rock was reborn!

Again, it was April and Wednesday when Rhythm of the Rock was reborn. To be exact, it was April 15, 2009! The first post during the rebirth was the hit song from David Archuleta called "Crush"! And this was my theme song to my former crush here in in our company.

Yeah, the reborn of this site was mainly due to my inspiration. On the early part of 2009, I got inspired! I felt in love. And the song from Archuleta was my theme song to her. You may notice that the title of my post was "Crush (how may i love you)". It was actually the title of our love story. "How May I Love You" is our subtitle. It was actually derived from the first message to me coming to her saying "how may I help you"! 'Help' was changed to 'love' giving the subtitle "how may i love you" which greatly depicts our story!

After "Crush", more and more posts were followed! Even the template, the design, the layout, fonts, and colors were all changed after the rebirth! A brand new "Rhythm of the Rock" came out!

The very first short subtitle description of Rhythm of the Rock was "Lyrics, Songs, Music, Senti, Emos, and All that Rocks your Heart...!" Until later, it was changed to "Music and Lyrics with My Personal Stories Behind the Hit Songs"!

But recently, when Rhythm of the Rock offers music videos, the subtitle description was changed a little! The word 'music videos' is attached to it giving now its latest description as "Music, Lyrics, and Music Videos with My Personal Stories Behind the Hit Songs!"

Rhythm of the Rock now is the current famous music site! In all my sites, it is the highest rated blog! It actually managed to stay on Top 50 and Top 30 most visited music blog site! It can climb on Top 25 or Top 23! Awesome!

Lyrics, music in my playlist which you can hear as you open this site, music videos, movie theme songs and movie reviews, song artists, and of course my personal stories or love stories are some of the things Rhythm of the Rock offers! Well, maybe these were the things why this blog site really becomes click to everyone! It's another everybody's favorite blog! Thank you very much my dear readers! =)

And talking about my love stories behind each songs, it seems that I am like Joe D. Mango giving readers a love notes! Haha! Yeah, each love stories or my personal stories behind each songs were really true-to-life stories of my life and loves! Exciting right?! Like I told you, this is my very first blog site! It is a Friendster blog which I developed way back in 2007 in my second job. This started my blogging hobby!

During break time or during times that no work to do, I write post or articles for this blog.

It was called as "Bits of Rockz" since its main purpose is for my personal usage! The rockz in the title is my nickname. Yeah, you can call me 'rockz' for short! And why 'bits'?!

It simply stands for every bits of me! Every bits or personality of Rocky! Bits of my moments, bits of memories, bits of my activities, or every little things I did! It's the 'bits' of the whole totality!

Yup, these were the screenshots of some of the posts in that blog. Actually that blog site was subdivided into 5 categories. And these were the following with their corresponding descriptions:

The segment 'Rhythm of my Heart' was where the current hit music blog site "Rhythm of the Rock" derived! Yup, that blog site evolved from this segment!

My 'Blogserye' was really a huge hit. The most famous blogserye article was the "LRT to Bus Story" about the girl I always see in the LRT and in the bus. Yup, we ride together in the LRT and in the bus! It was a four-part special!

The "LRT to Bus Story IV: Sino Sa Kanila Ang Titingnan Ko" was the last post in this blog. It was published on May 2008. I can no more update that blog from that time since Friendster was blocked here in my third company!

But the blocking of different social networking sites didn't prevail my blogging hobby! I explore other things! Until I found Blogger! And this started your favorite blog site now which is The Rock Land together with the others!

Bits of Rockz was really a remarkable blog site to note! This where all started! Because of it, you now enjoy all the Rocky's blogs!

But some of the remarkable posts from this site where already transferred or duplicated in The Rock Land. All my three literary articles from Bits of Rockz which were "Rocky", "The Lord is My Rock", and "Pangitain" were also published here in the Rock Land. Of course my other hit blog post from that site were already here. Yup, the very first posts here in the Rock Land all came from Bits of Rockz!

History of the Blogs Chapter 1: "In the Beginning"

April 2009 marked the rise of all the rocky's blogs. From one personal blog site to seven gorgeous hit sites! Yup, I have now seven blog sites to offer to all of you. Five of these blogs were so active and regularly maintain while the other two serve as a storage!

But, did you all know how these blogs started?!

Well, in accordance to my one year rise of the blogs celebration, allow me to share with you the history of my sites!

Let's go to the Chapter 1 of the history. This is the humble beginning...!

It all started as "Bits of Rockz" in Friendster!

I really love writing. Since elementary, my writing career started being a writer in our school publication. Then in High School, I was a successful Literary Editor then became Sports Editor joining different writing contest. At the end of High School, I was awarded as the 2001 Mamamahayag Ng Taon" for a number of prestige contributions I gave to the school! And of course in College, since first year, I was a writer of our school publication. For four consecutive years, I was the Managing Editor! I already wrote different types of article from opinion, literary, creative, to technical!

When I graduated in College last March 31, 2007, I became busy in the Corporate World. I had my first job as a Network Administrator. But then, I still practiced my writing abilities as a Technical Writer of our system and process.

When I entered my second job being a Software Engineer on August 29, 2007, my techincal writing job eventually stopped! But this marked the beginning of my online writing hobby!

On my second job, all the websites were open. You have an unlimited access to all the internet sites. Even social networking sites like Friendster were open to all its employees. And since Friendster was really a huge hit that days, I became addicted to it!

Until I explore the Friendster Blog...

There using the Friendster Blog application, my very first blog site entitled "Bits of Rockz was born!

"A Journey to a Rocky Road" was the quick subtitle description of this blog. It contains all my personal articles as well as my other hit printed literary articles in college. Time to time, it was updated! All my previous officemates in my second job got also addicted reading this blog.

But when I grabbed my third job here in my present company last February 11, 2008, my Friendster Blog became inactive! But, it marked the rise of other more exciting blog sites!

At first Friendster was accessible in our company. I still able to update my Friendster Blog. Until Friendster was blocked in our office as well as the other social networking sites like Multiply. My last update to my Friendster blog was on May 29, 2008.

Since it was hard to access Friendster in our company, I then explored other blog sites. Until I discovered Blogger! From there, my blogging career started!

March 2008, my very first Blogger site was born! It was named as "Bits of Rocks II" since it was a continuation of my Friendster blog. Some of my hit articles from my Friendster blog was transferred or duplicated to it!

Then on April 2008, another blog site was launched. It was called "Rhythm of the Rock" which was also derived from one of the segment of my Friendster Blog "Rhythm of my Heart". It contains all my favorite song lyrics!

In 2008, I was pro-advertisement. I just used this two blog sites for my ads. To add more advertisers, I launched my third blog site which was called "Mortgage Plus". It was solely purpose for advertisements.

When my ads became so weak, these three blogs became inactive. They were no longer updated since then!

Until on April 2009, these blog sites were then revived! I felt inlove during that time so I immediately updated my "Rhythm of the Rock" blog featuring my lovelife's theme song!s My other blog which was renamed as "Bits of Rocks" (without II) was also updated!

Not only these two, the third or should I say the fourth blog was also born on the same month and year. It was called as "TV Series Craze" containing all the information about your favorite TV Series.

Oops, before I forget, my literary blog site which was called "The Rock's Literary Collection" was born together with the "Rhythm of the Rock" blog.

The former "Mortgage Plus" blog was now converted to the hit gadget blog called "TECHkyrocky"!

All these blog sites have their own history to tell. Know them all on the next succeeding chapters of my Blog Sites History! See Yah on the next chapters...!!! c",)

The Rock Land Now Conquers Facebook Fan Page!

After Rockz Cafe, TV Series Craze, and Rhythm of the Rock, it's now time for The Rock Land! Yeah, your favorite and everybody's favorite blog site tambayan now conquers Facebook!

You can now follow me in the No. 1 Social Networking site. The Rock Land already have its own fan page. So, what are you waiting for, c'mon and become a fan!

Oh, It's Miming Negro! Fans Like Her So Much!

Actually I just started The Rock Land's Fan page a week ago. At the very start, I just got two fans. Then after an hour, it became 16. The next day, it rise to 50. Then it grows to 70, 80, and 90. At the end of the week, I was surprised to see that my fans now were 110! Wow, a very fast popularity!

I compared my four sites having fan page in Facebook. And I have noticed that the Rock Land was the fastest growing fan page of all! The strongest of them is the TV Series Craze followed by Rhythm of the Rock. As of this writing, TV Series Craze garnered 122 fans while Rhythm of the Rock with 121 fans. And glad to see that the Rock Land already had 110 fans as of today noting that it was a one-week old! TV Series and Rhythm of the Rock were already on their second and a half week!

The least number of fans was the Rockz Cafe. Right now, it only had 90 fans noting that this was my very first blog site that had a fan page! But, it's ok. People really have their own preferences!

All the pictures that were not published in this site will be stored in the fan page. Some stories behind each post will be exposed there! You can be more interactive with me as well to my other friends with this fan page! You can post anything you wanna post! =)

History of the Blogs Chapter 5: "A Collection of Literary Pieces"

After the birth of The Rock Land and Rhythm of the Rock, another site was born! This is the blog site intended or serves only as the storage of all the Rocky's literary pieces!

And it was named as..."The Rock's Literary Collection"! This is its story...

The same year and month when The Rock Land and Rhythm of the Rock born, another site whch only serves as the storage site for my literary articles was created. This is named as The Rock's Literary Collection".

Born on April 22, 2008 having the URL of rocklits.blogspot.com, The Rock's Literary Collection became available in the internet providing the readers with three of Rocky's top literary article. It has the subtitle description known as "A Collection of Gems from my precious mind..."!

The URL rocklits again came from two words. It is "rocky" and "literary". Merging them formed "rocklits".

The very first post on this site was the Rocky's poem called "Rocky"!

But did you know that it only contains three poss?! These were the following:

After April 22, 2008, no other posts were published! Yup, these three and only these three!

The mere reason for this was that, this site is only for storage! It just housed my literary articles published and unpublished in College.

Of course these three articles were not my only literary articles in college. It just happened that these three have a soft copy. Since they have soft copies, it was easier for me to publish or post them in the internet! My other literary articles were already printed through hard copies! I don't anymore have their soft copies! It will take time to re-type them! But don't worry, maybe some other times you may see them here! =)

History of the Blogs Chapter 6: "The Craze for TV Series"

Welcome back to our month-long history of the Rocky's blog special. You already knew the four blog sites of me namely "Bits of Rocks", "The Rock Land", "Rhythm of the Rock", and "The Rock's Literay Collection". Now, let's get to know the most visited and everybody's favorite TV blog site!

TV is always a part of every Filipino. Without it, our lives will be boring and meaningless. And among the variety of TV programs, Soap Opera, TV Series or the commonly known as "teleserye" is the all-time favorite of all the people around the globe specially Pinoy like us! Without teleserye, our day is incomplete!

Honestly speaking, I admit that I was a very big fan of teleserye or telenovela. I used to grow with them. My life itself is a real life teleserye. Of course I am the bida, with a leading lady, and with kontrabida!

These things gave birth to the blog site now known as TV Series Craze! This one-year old blog site is now the most visited TV website to note. It is widely circulated around the net and garnered lots and lots of fans! Wow!

As they always say, if there's a radio for music, well definitely there's a TV. That's why in April 17, 2009, TV Series Craze was born!

At first, I was planning to make a blog site for TV and movies. Yup, initially I want to combine them. That's why the very first title of this site was called "TV Series Plus Movies". Afterward, it was evolved to "TV Series with Movies Plus" then became "TV Series and Movies Craze". Even its URL varied!

Later I realized, why did not make a sole site for TV series?! Since TV series is a widely hit, why not gave them an exclusive site? Until finally, this site was called as "TV Series Craze"! And it's URL became finally as tvseriescraze.blogspot.com.

Why craze?! Simply because everybody around the globe got crazy for TV Series. Without their craze for TV series, no network war, no evolution of soap opera, no Asianovela or Mexiconovela today, no more new faces of stars were born, and no Primetime Bida or Telebabad on TV! Everything today starts from a simple TV series!

This site not only gives information about TV series itself. There's news about the different TV series stars, latest showbiz news relating to TV Series, TV ratings, network war between the two giant networks, upcoming series, and uploaded episodes of your favorite TV series were all here! That is why the subtitle description of this site is called "Everything You Need To Know About Your Favorite TV Series" !

The very first post published in this site last April 17, 2009 was the Angel Locsin-Sam Milby remake of the Koreanovela "Only You" entitled 'Only You' - An Exciting Blend To Watch Out! From that first post, more and more new and exciting posts followed!

Now from day to day, new posts were published! My fans and followers in Facebook and Twitter eventually increased! From all my blog sites, TV Series Craze is the most viewed, most visited, and has the most number of fans! It also became the highest ranking site from the different site measurements! Great! =)

So, for the great success of TV Series Craze, I like to give back a word of thanks and appreciation! again and again, thank you very much my avid readers, fans, followers, and supporters! TV Series Craze can now be put inline with the other hit showbiz and TV websites! Awesome! =)
