Paying Tribute to the Master Showman German "Kuya Germs" Moreno

The showbiz world was saddened by the lost of one of the pillars of Philippine entertainment, German Moreno or popularly known as Kuya Germs.

At exactly 3:20 am of Friday, January 8, 2016, Kuya Germs' nephew John Nite announced via social media the death of his uncle due to cardiac arrest. Kuya Germs, 82, who was with his family passed away peacefully in St. Lukes Hospital.

Yours truly is in deep sympathy to the family of Kuya Germs. And yes, I would like to offer this blog post as form of my tribute to the one and only Master Showman of Philippine showbiz, Kuya Germs.

I've looked some of my photos together with Kuya Germs since we always met in many of huge showbiz events and presscons. And here are some:

I'm proud that I personally met this well-respected guy. He was truly an institution, a pioneer in show business who served as a father to the different well-known artists today. Who could forget his legacies like the "That's Entertainment," the Walk of Fame in Eastwood City, and the current "Walang Tulugan with the Master Showman?" These were just some of his huge contributions in Philippine showbiz.

Once more, I would like to express my condolence to his family. Kuya Germs is now on the good hands of our Dear Lord. His legacy and contribution will forever live! May you rest in peace Kuya Germs. You're like a grandfather to me. (Bits of Rocks)

"Rock and Ross" - A Light Talk with Arny Ross

It was already two years ago when I first met the GMA's so-called "Darling of the Dance floor", Arny Ross Roque or simply Arny Ross. Yes, she was one of the cast members of the previous Alden Richards' teleserye, "Mundo Mo'y Akin."

Arny is now one of the main casts of the hit gag show "Bubble Gang" and the member of the show's girl group called "Bubble Shakers."

During our early Christmas event in the Kapuso network dubbed as "PaGMAmahalan Blog Con,"  me and Arny met again and shared light talks. She and the Kapuso comedian Betong joined the event representing their gag show "Bubble Gang."

Arny is actually a product of the GMA's 2013 artista search  Protégé: The Battle For The Big Artista Break under Gina Alajar and later to Phillip Salvador wherein she represented the Southern Luzon in that season. In that said show, she formed a love team with the show's grand winner and also my friend Jeric Gonzales.

After the said artista search competition, Arny appeared in the different GMA TV shows. And now she became popular being part of the longest-running gag show on TV, "Bubble Gang."

According to Arny, the gag show paved way for her stardom. Their group called the 'Bubble Shakers' where she showcases her dancing talent is now a household name. That even landed her to become a cover girl of the FHM 2015 issue. She even ranked No. 26 in the magazine's 100 Sexiest Women for 2015.

In person, Arny is also cool and kalog. She has full of humors. And yes, she also loves taking pictures just like yours truly! :)

Of course, we had our wacky selfies together! Check these out:

Arny also revealed the exciting surprises of "Bubble Gang" as it celebrates its 20TH Anniversary. They will introduce more new segments and more new performances from their group. And of course, there will be a big celebration wherein the original casts of the show namely Ara Mina, Sunshine Cruz, Diana Zubiri, and Assunta De Rossi rejoin them!

Great meeting you again Arny! We really enjoyed the day. See you again soon. More new projects to come! (RCB)

Daryl became popular after reviving the song of Willie Revillame, "Ikaw na Nga."

Now, check out some of the cool selfies of Daryl and I below:

I even had an interview with Daryl wherein he shared exciting things about himself. And yes, I will share it, the full video interview on my next post. :)

Gangnam Style, a hit K-Pop dance craze is now taking the country by storm! Due to its unstoppable hit, a Pinoy version of its music video as well as its cool steps dominate the worldwide web!

The so called "Gangnam Style-Pinoy Style" goes viral! And this is because of the showtime hunk host Eric "Eruption" Tai!

Actually, Eric is one of the members of the Philippine Volcanoes Rugby Team. Before, I didn't know that he has a talent in dancing. So I got surprised seeing him in the viral video!

Bryan Termulo Serenades Hearts with His New Album 'Hanggang Ngayon!'

The "Teleserye Prince" Meets The "Teleserye Theme Song" Prince...! This is how I dubbed the recent event I've joined in with the country's one of the hottest male young singer Bryan Termulo.

Because of giving great renditions to the songs like "Dadalhin," "Pagdating Ng Panahon," "Bihag," and "Hanggan Ngayon" which were all used in the different top-rating TV series namely "Walang Hanggan," "Dahil Sa Pag-Ibig," "100 Days to Heaven," and "Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo," Bryan now grabbed the title as the "Teleserye Theme Song Prince!" And me being a blogger and lover of different TV series, I called myself as the "Teleserye Prince." Yeah, I admit that I am a teleserye addict way back my childhood days. And I truly grew up with TV series! :)

It's such a great privilege and opportunity to combine the two princes in one melodic event. It's a very fulfilling experience to meet and talk with this generation's great balladeer.

Bryan graces a Blogger's Conference on a rainy Monday night in Moomba Bar. Amid of the bad weather, you didn't actually feel that the rain is falling outside the venue because of Bryan's sweet voice which serenades the group of bloggers present in the event. At first, I expect that this will just be an ordinary question and answer conference. But, it turns out to be a romantic and inspiring event as Bryan sings to us four of the songs included in his second album in addition to stories he shared with us.

I was inspired how Bryan started his career through a very humble beginning. Yes, he is also a product of a singing reality show in the Kapuso station. He joined the "Pinoy Pop Superstar Year 3" at GMA-7 but only emerged as a runner-up.

Though he didn't got the title on the said reality show, Bryan still managed to pursue his career in the showbiz world. He showcased his singing talent before via GMA-7's musical variety shows like "SOP" and "Party Pilipinas." He even surprised viewers as he shared his commendable acting stint in the small screen as he appeared in the GMA soap "All My Life" before transferring to the Kapamilya network in 2010.

Bryan Fulfills the Night's Event with His Songs, Smiles, and Revelations

Bryan Termulo Shares That When Given a Chance to Lead in a Movie, He Wants Either Sarah Geronimo or Angeline Quinto to be His Leading Lady!

In the the Kapamilya network, he became a regular mainstay of "ASAP 2012" and part of the boy group called Boys R Boys who completed the hunk young singers namely Alex Castro, Markki Stroem and JM de Guzman. Alex is also a product of GMA-7's "Pinoy Pop Superstar."

Bryan's career in singing flourished on the succeeding years. He scored big when he released his debut album under BWB Records and Music Production Inc. called "Begin" which includes the hits "Bihag" and "Paano Nangyari". These songs were both played in the inspirational series "100 Days to Heaven."

In 2010, he competed for the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) and won two silver medals in rock and original works, and one bronze in R&B. Additionally, he was cited by the Philippine Movies Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for the Music in 2012 as one of the nominees for "New Male Recording Artist of the Year." And icing on the cake was winning the 2011 Awit Awards' Best Album Packaging.

Bryan's Message to Me! :)

Bryan Also Enjoys the Night with the Bloggers!

Bryan soars even higher in terms of singing! He just released his second album entitled "Hanggang Ngayon" which includes eight songs and each song has a minus one. This is distributed by Star Records.

The title track of "Hanggang Ngayon" was nominated at Tambayan OPM Music Awards 2012. The album even placed on the 7TH spot in Astroplus/Astrovisions OPM Bestselling Album Chart from June 25 - July 1, 2012.

And just recently, the romantic official music video of "Hanggan Ngayon" has been released. In the said music video, Bryan was paired to the beautiful Binibining Pilipinas model Mary Jane Lastimosa! Here is the said music video:

After dominating the music scene, Bryan will soon set to conquer the TV series world! Yup, he will once more showcase his acting ability as he is included in the upcoming ABS-CBN drama series "Against All Odds" together with Sam Milby, KC Concepcion, Mylene Dizon, John Estrada, Tirso Cruz III, Coney Reyes, Joseph Marco, Jessy Mendiola, and the Queen of Teleserye Ms. Judy Ann Santos! In the said teleserye, Bryan will be paired to the young actress Jessy Mendiola.

For me, I dubbed Bryan as the "Male Counterpart" of Sarah Geronimo and Angeline Quinto. Just like the two female young singers, Bryan can shift from singing to acting!

And when I asked him if he was given a chance to lead in a big movie project, who among the young stars of today will be his choice leading lady, he promptly replied, "I want either Sarah Geronimo or Angeline Quinto!" He wants to try their chemistry in the big screen since the three of them can sing and act at the same time!

The "Teleserye Theme Song Prince" Dedicates His Album to The "Teleserye Prince"

Among all his Songs, Bryan's Favorite is "Dadalhin" which Paves Way for His Stardom!

When asked if among his songs included in the album what is his favorite, Bryan shared that it's "Dadalhin!" "Thankful ako sa Dadalhin, kase kung hindi dahil sa song na ito, hindi ako makikilala. Wala ako ngayon dito sa harap niyo. Wala akong album, TV series, endorsement...wala ito lahat ngayon kung hindi dahil sa Dadalhin," Bryan unveiled.

I even admired Bryan more when he revealed that aside from his busy showbiz career, he is also taking up a course in College! He is pursuing a Mass Communication course. Wow, he's such a great role model to many. Though he is now successful in showbiz with fame and money, he didn't forgot to study, to have an education which no one can steal! Proper time management is his secret to accommodate his study, his showbiz career in singing and acting, and his tours and promotions at the same time!

And not only that, Bryan is also an endorser of the top clinically proven skin-care brand Cetaphil!

Bryan also showed his 'pbbteens' side when he gamely answered a slambook-like question thrown to him by one of our co-bloggers.

Before the event ends, Bryan serenaded us two more songs including his carrier single "Hanggan Ngayon" and his favorite theme "Dadalhin" which put him on great stardom!

Aside from this wonderful event, you can catch Bryan in his different mall tours. He will be in SM Rosario and SM Novaliches (August 25), SM Bacoor (August 26), SM Center Las Piñas (September 2), SM Fairview (September 8), SM Sucat (September 9), SM Olongapo (September 15), SM Baliwag (September 16), SM Naga (September 22) and SM Tarlac (September 29).

Two thumbs up Bryan Termulo! I am truly thankful to spend a very inspiring event like this! You gave us inspirations to strive more amid of the hard times and trials! More power to you and more blessings to come! c",)
