Angel Locsin and Rocky Batara's Picture Together is Most-Liked and Most-Shared in Facebook!

 

For the second time around, I met the country's sexiest and most awarded young actress Ms. Angel Locsin. And this was during the recently concluded 26TH PMPC Star Awards for TV held at the Henry Lee Irwin Theater in Ateneo Manila. 

Angel was nominated as Best Actress for their weekly sitcom "TodaMax." She together with her co-stars went up the stage to received the award since "TodaMax" won the Best Comedy Program award. Aside from that, her co-stars Pokwang and Robin Padilla also got the Best Comedy Actress and the Best Comedy Actor titles respectively.

After their winning moment, I got a chance to talk and mingle again with Angel in our seat. We talked about her latest projects and her upcoming movie "One More Try" which is also the Star Cinema's official entry to the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival. And of course, we had our picture taking! 

One of my pictures with Angel is now circulating in the world-wide web. It was even shared in the different social networking sites such as in Twitter and Facebook by Angel's Official Fan Page. And our picture together got the most number of Facebook Likes  and Shares.

Well, as of this moment, December 2, 2012 at 03:49 am, our photos received 27, 151 Likes and 395 Shares with 538 good comments. Here is the screenshot of the data:

History of the Blogs Chapter 2: "The 'Bits' Where All Started"

Let us now go back to the history of the Rocky's Blogs! On the first chapter, I told you a brief summary on how my blogs started.

Like I have told you, each of my sites had their own story or history to tell. They have their corresponding chapters so you will get to know them more! Excited?! I know you are! =)

For this chapter, let us go back to the very first blog site where all started! This is the "Bits of Rockz"!

The Logo of the Very First Blog

Like I told you, this is my very first blog site! It is a Friendster blog which I developed way back in 2007 in my second job. This started my blogging hobby!

During break time or during times that no work to do, I write post or articles for this blog.

It was called as "Bits of Rockz" since its main purpose is for my personal usage! The rockz in the title is my nickname. Yeah, you can call me 'rockz' for short! And why 'bits'?!

It simply stands for every bits of me! Every bits or personality of Rocky! Bits of my moments, bits of memories, bits of my activities, or every little things I did! It's the 'bits' of the whole totality!

Yup, these were the screenshots of some of the posts in that blog. Actually that blog site was subdivided into 5 categories. And these were the following with their corresponding descriptions:

The segment 'Rhythm of my Heart' was where the current hit music blog site "Rhythm of the Rock" derived! Yup, that blog site evolved from this segment!

My 'Blogserye' was really a huge hit. The most famous blogserye article was the "LRT to Bus Story" about the girl I always see in the LRT and in the bus. Yup, we ride together in the LRT and in the bus! It was a four-part special!

The "LRT to Bus Story IV: Sino Sa Kanila Ang Titingnan Ko" was the last post in this blog. It was published on May 2008. I can no more update that blog from that time since Friendster was blocked here in my third company!

But the blocking of different social networking sites didn't prevail my blogging hobby! I explore other things! Until I found Blogger! And this started your favorite blog site now which is The Rock Land together with the others!

Bits of Rockz was really a remarkable blog site to note! This where all started! Because of it, you now enjoy all the Rocky's blogs!

But some of the remarkable posts from this site where already transferred or duplicated in The Rock Land. All my three literary articles from Bits of Rockz which were "Rocky", "The Lord is My Rock", and "Pangitain" were also published here in the Rock Land. Of course my other hit blog post from that site were already here. Yup, the very first posts here in the Rock Land all came from Bits of Rockz!

Which of these social networking sites you're always active?

Well, we're the same if you're answer is Facebook! Yup nowadays, I am a certified Facebook addict! Besides adding more and more friends, I really love to play its games like Farmville, Fishville, and my favorite Cafe World!

Friendster is my former well-loved social networking site. Since college I am more active on this. I have an account there since 2004. But when the Facebook become so popular in the early part of 2009, my Friendster inclination slowly fading down! But still my account here is active! You can still be friends with me here in Friendster. But, don't get shock when you see a thinner version of me here since majority of my pictures there were from my College days and from my first job! My last update here was on April 2009!

Next to Friendster is Multiply. I started to create my account here in May 2008. Since Friendster was blocked in our company and I had no way to upload my pictures or update my profiles, I started to like multiply! But then, I didn't anymore upload my pictures there. Pictures that were there was my second job memoirs and our 2008 Company outing as well as my other personal photos! Yup, it is still active and you can still add me as your contact there! I only update it with my new posts and links!

The least of the four was the Hi5! My account there started in 2004 way back in my College days. Since Friendster was blocked in our school, I created an account in Hi5. I wasn't anymore update it though it is active. What you can see more here were my College pictures. Purely college photos...a thin rocky boy! But, you can still add me here as your friend!

Now did you see how my four social networking sites differ from one another even though they were all intended for networking friends? Yeah from these sites, you will see the beautiful evolution of me!

Facebook, Friendster, Multiply, Hi5...catch me there! Add me as your friend! Besides maintaining seven blog sites, I am really active to other social networking sites! Facebook is the most active of all! I just created it last December 2009 and as of this writing, I already accumulated a total of 840+ friends! It keeps growing and growing everyday! =)

Oops...if you think these four were only my social networking sites, think again! Yeah, I have other more social sites but for now, it's a top secret!Hahaha! c",)

Welcome to the 'Rockz Cafe'!

Right now, I am owning a restaurant! This is called the Rockz Cafe following my name. And it's getting bigger and bigger!

Of course, just like we always do, I will let you come and visit it!

Hahaha! Yeah, just like many of us, I really get addicted! I am now a certified addict...addict...a certified Cafe World Addict! And here's what I got, my own restaurant or a cafe bar!

Are you ready? Allow me to tour you to my own cafe in the Facebook's Cafe World Game!

My Humble Beginning...

I Started to Renovate My Cafe as My Income Increases!

At first, I have no interest with this Facebook's game. I was then addicted to its other application like the Farmville and the Fishville. I even ignore my friends inviting me to be their neighbors.

But due to curiosity, I tried it! Then afterwards, I doesn't even care to it! I still focus myself in Farmville and Fishville!

My brother was the first one who got addict with this! He even showed me how his cafe grows! Hmmm...I tried playing it again once...then twice...then thrice...then up to the nth time 'till now! Slowly, I realized myself getting addict with this! And now, this is my favorite Facebook game! It now surpassed my Farmville and Fishville addiction!

It Grows... It Grows as Time Passes By!

This is Now My Current Cafe which Attracts More and More Customers!

I named my own cafe as the "Rockz Cafe"! It started as a small plain cafe having few things and no design at all! Then as I cook more and more foods, deserts, burgers, or other menus, I earned more and more money! My game level eventually increases!

As my level increases and as I earn more and more money, I was then able to buy more things and properties which I can use to design my own resto. I can then expand my place! Actually its my third time to expand my cafe!

From the pictures above see how my cafe world evolves from a small plain stall to a red attractive resto now! Sorry, I wasn't able t provide you with my very first cafe resto since at first I didn't like it! The blue one that I have above was I think my second or third level! Initially, I have only two tables, two stoves, two counters, and a brown plain floor!

Well, what can you say? Don't worry, this is not only once! Later, when my cafe transforms to a new one, I will let you see it! Yeah, this is only my first part! Later, I will share you more!

Facebook Addiction!

Everybody go crazy about Facebook. In fact last 2009, Facebook is the No. 1 most visited, most searched, and most popular website all over the world! In other words, it is the No. 1 Social Networking Site last year 'till this early 2010. It grabbed the thrown from the previous hit Friendster, its counter-like social networking site! According to the different news and articles, with its millions and millions of subscribers, Facebook can now be a nation!

At first, I don't have any interest with Facebook. I was more active before in Friendster. Friendster before is my main social networking site though I also have a Multiply and Hi-5 accounts! All my friends have already their Facebook accounts, me don't have any!

Until last December, when I got my PC in our home, I started to create my own Facebook account! At first too boring for me since you cannot personalize your own profile like Friendster provide, but eventually I became interested to this new social-networking site!

A Growing Farm...

I wonder why almost all of my friends got addicted to Facebook! Even in our office, my officemates were talking about Farmville. They were having fun with their farms, villas, plantations, and harvests! They all aiming to got the highest points therefore many of my officemates were bringing their portable USB internet broadband in our office so that their plants wouldn't get withered!

Hayz...at first I just laughed at their crazy deeds! They got addicted with Facebook! Their word of mouths were all Facebook and Facebook! What's in this Facebook that everybody got hooked?!Hmmm...

Then after I created my account on December, my first goal with Facebook was just to earn more friends and to update my other friends with my latest activities, pictures, and status! But it turned out to be a different thing! I got addicted with the following:

Welcome to my Cafe Resto!

Hahaha! Yeah, I already became one of them...one of the Facebook Addicts! Besides earning more friends and relationships with Facebook, I got addicted with these Facebook games. Farmville, Fishville, and Cafe World were now part of my internet hobbies!

On my first sign-up with Facebook, I was so busy adding friends. Glad that on my second day of my Facebook account, I already got hundreds of friends. It was eventually increased as my account now stepped on its 1 and 1/2 months. But I was not anymore busy with adding friends, instead I was busy adding neighbors! Haha!

I was first got addicted with Fishville. I lot designing and raising different breeds of fishes. When they grow up, I can now sell my fishes giving me lots of money. These earnings enable me to buy other more fishes, aquarium plants, decorations, and even buy other more tanks. And as you harvest and buy more aquarium things, your XP points increases and your level also get higher!

Afterwards, I also got hooked with Farmville. With Farmville, you will really feel that you are like a haciendero owning a farm! You can plant different plants and harvest them afterward. These plants and seeds have their own time span of growing. If you fail to harvest them on their specified time, they were get withered! But if you harvest them on their appropriate time, you will earn money. Just like Fishville, these moneys enable you to buy other seeds, animals, buildings, and decorations. You can even expand your lots! Great!

And lastly, my third game with Facebook is the Cafe World! I just recently opened it. In this game, you were like owning a resto or cafe business! The mechanics were similar to Fishville and Farmville! I will discuss it t you more on my next post!

My farm was now growing and expanding! I now owned lots of things and animals! I love taking pictures of it! Oops... don't worry 'coz I have my separated post exclusively about my Farmville. And also I have an exclusive separated posts for my Fishville and Cafe World! So be ready for that! Haha!
