The Girls in the Christian Bautista and Jose Mari Chan's Versions of "Beautiful Girl"

"Beautiful Girl" is the hit song popularized by Jose Mari Chan in the 80's. And it was revived by Christian Bautista in 2009.

I have watched the music videos of these two song versions and compared them. And glad that in the two music videos, different famous actresses were joined together.

In the Jose Mari Chan music video, it was the Megastar Sharon Cuneta, the Star for All Season Vilma Santos, the Asia'a songbird Regine Velasquez, and Primera Kontrabida Cherrie Gil who were altogether.

Here is the said music video:

Meanwhile, in the the modern Christian Bautista video, the girls were the IT Girl Solenn Heusaff, the gorgeous model Georgina Wilson, the host-singer actress Anne Curtis, and the multi-awarded actress Angel Locsin.

Let's watch the said modern music video below:

Whether Jose Mari Chan or Christian Bautista's version, both were great in terms of music, melody, and stars of the music video! Kudos to these two versions! 01/24/2017 (RCB)

Chinito #Selfie with Jason Dy

For the first time, I've met the heartthrob RnB singer and The Voice of the Philippines grand champion Jason Dy during the blogcon of his self-titled second album.

Check out two of our selfies together:

Just like yours truly, Jason is also a 25% Chinese hence the surname Dy. :)

On my next posts, I will share with you more about Jason Dy which we discussed during the blogcon. And of course, I will also share the full video of my exclusive interview with him.

Great meeting you Jason! (RCB)

The Black and The White Collaborate for 'Next to You' Cover!

It's good to know that racial discrimination was swept out when two opposing colors collaborate to give us a cool good cover music version! And take note, they made their own version of one of my favorite song "Next to You" originally popularized by Chris Brown featuring Justin Bieber!

The Chinese cutie Jason Chen and the black boy group Ahmir collaborated and made their cover version of the said song. Their voice blended giving us a version surpassing the original.

The music video is also cool giving an equal emphasize to both races.

Here is the said version of Jason Chen and Ahmir for my favorite song "Next to You." Let's all watch and listen into it:

Thanks God that I already had this cool version. Actually, I'm looking for this version when I first heard it used in a fan-made video!

Great version! Two thumbs up to all of you guys! c",)

Once There was a Westlife

Westlife was a hit Irish Boy Band who dominate our music world in the late 90's and in the early 2000. But did you know that this boy band sings almost all of my lovelife's theme songs?

1999 was the year when they launched their first album with "Swear Again" as their carrier single. And this song was our theme with my first love. I was in third year high school during that time.

Their next hits like "If I let You Go", "Seasons in the Sun", "More Than Words", "Fool Again" as well as their other songs in their first album completed my first love story's themes.

Then when they launched their second album which was "Coast to Coast", I was already falling inlove with our dancer neighbor. Their carrier hit "My Love" was my theme song for her! And their next song from this album which was "I Lay My Love on You" was my theme song to my saleslady crush in the early part of 2001.

Summer of 2001 when I entered college, I found a close friend or a friend of mine who taught me how to dance to the tune of "When You're Looking Like That" captivated my heart! I fell in love with her and that dance song which we danced together was my theme song for her!

On the late part of 2001, I was already falling inlove with my co-junior staffer in our college student publication. And one of my theme song for her was "Queen of my Heart" which was the Westlife's hit during that time.

2002 when I was in my second year college, Westlife launched their "World of our Own" album. During that time, I was now having an affair with my classmate who was also a member of our barkada! Yeah we were too close and I was deeply falling inlove with her. But sad that, she dropped her subjects cutting our love story! Westlife's songs in our days which made me remember her were "Bop, Bop Baby", "Evergreen", and the other hit songs from their third album!

Truly Westlife sings my different love stories. Now they were not that visible in the music industry but their contribution in my heart as well as to all of us were all priceless! Well, in my Rhythm of the Rock music blog, I pay tribute to their great contributions in our music and of course in my different love affairs! Hmmm...what Westlife song will be my theme song to my next love story?! C",)

History of the Blogs Chapter 4: "And the 'Rhythm' was Played"

The success of The Rock Land didn't stop! It continuously grows and develops. And the most important thing, it gives birth to other more famous sites!

Next to The Rock Land is the hit music and lyrics site known as the "Rhythm of the Rock! And this is its history...

Rhythm of the Rock Today

It was Wednesday, April 23, 2008 when the Rhythm of the Rock was created! It actually derived or came from my Bits of Rocks segment "Rhythm of My Heart". Its first ever post was the song "Borrowed Time" sung by the hit Pinoy band Cueshe. This is the ending song of my college love affair. So I posted it together with my romance story.

The URL of Rhythm of the Rock is rockyrics.blogspot.com. "Rockyrics" is actually a combination of two words. It stands for "rocky" and "lyrics" since it features the lyrics of my theme songs. In every post, they is always a lyrics of a song. Of course, there is a story, my personal stories behind these songs!

And also, you may notice that the post titles were actually the title of the song itself!

The First Logo of the Rhythm of the Rock

The Current Logo of Rhythm of the Rock

The next post after "Borrowed Time" was "Go The Distance" which was actually taken from my Friendster blog "Bits of Rockz" under the "Rhythm of My Heart" category. "Go The Distance" was my theme song to my former love story in my second job!

After "Borrowed Time" and "Go The Distance", no more posts followed! Only these two posts were my posts published in the year of 2008!

But one year later, April of 2009, Rhythm of the Rock was reborn!

"Go the Distance" was First Published in the 'Bits of Rocks' under the 'Rhythm of My Heart' Segment

Again, it was April and Wednesday when Rhythm of the Rock was reborn. To be exact, it was April 15, 2009! The first post during the rebirth was the hit song from David Archuleta called "Crush"! And this was my theme song to my former crush here in in our company.

Yeah, the reborn of this site was mainly due to my inspiration. On the early part of 2009, I got inspired! I felt in love. And the song from Archuleta was my theme song to her. You may notice that the title of my post was "Crush (how may i love you)". It was actually the title of our love story. "How May I Love You" is our subtitle. It was actually derived from the first message to me coming to her saying "how may I help you"! 'Help' was changed to 'love' giving the subtitle "how may i love you" which greatly depicts our story!

After "Crush", more and more posts were followed! Even the template, the design, the layout, fonts, and colors were all changed after the rebirth! A brand new "Rhythm of the Rock" came out!

The Very First Post in Rhythm of the Rock

The First Post in 2009, the Rebirth of the Rhythm of the Rock

The very first short subtitle description of Rhythm of the Rock was "Lyrics, Songs, Music, Senti, Emos, and All that Rocks your Heart...!" Until later, it was changed to "Music and Lyrics with My Personal Stories Behind the Hit Songs"!

But recently, when Rhythm of the Rock offers music videos, the subtitle description was changed a little! The word 'music videos' is attached to it giving now its latest description as "Music, Lyrics, and Music Videos with My Personal Stories Behind the Hit Songs!"

Rhythm of the Rock now is the current famous music site! In all my sites, it is the highest rated blog! It actually managed to stay on Top 50 and Top 30 most visited music blog site! It can climb on Top 25 or Top 23! Awesome!

Lyrics, music in my playlist which you can hear as you open this site, music videos, movie theme songs and movie reviews, song artists, and of course my personal stories or love stories are some of the things Rhythm of the Rock offers! Well, maybe these were the things why this blog site really becomes click to everyone! It's another everybody's favorite blog! Thank you very much my dear readers! =)

And talking about my love stories behind each songs, it seems that I am like Joe D. Mango giving readers a love notes! Haha! Yeah, each love stories or my personal stories behind each songs were really true-to-life stories of my life and loves! Exciting right?! So, keep on visiting Rhythm of the Rock and be a fans and followers of it! Thanks for all the support...!!!

See you on the next chapters! c",)

Invasion of our Home VI: 'A Lover of Music!'

If there is another thing that would describe rocky, well that is Music!

Yup, I really love music. It truly sounds beautiful in my ears. So for our next invasion, I will let you invade and see my mini-music room!

My DVD Component

The Music Blog You Always Love

I just had a hi-fi DVD component. As you can see, it's just a simple thing. I've placed it in our entertainment rack. See, aside me, our miniature pussy kittens also love music. They find their place comfortable on the top of the music box surrounded by a digitally surround-sound! Such ambitious kittens huh!

One proof of my love in music is my other blog site. Yeah, I know all of you were familiar with the "Rhythm of the Rock", my musical blog site full of the hit, rock, and sentimental lyrics with an enjoyable play list that will captivate your heart. And take note that in every lyrics of the songs I post, there is a corresponding love-story that some of you can relate!

Just Plain and Simple

Oh My Little Kittens!

Bringing back again in my mini-music area, almost everyday if there were no good TV programs or TV series to view, or if there were no new DVD movies in my collection, expect that our home was filled with good music and rhythm in the air! Yup, I was really a musically inclined person. Besides every part and chapters of my life, there is a corresponding music attached to it! Specially my love stories, it is equip with the greatest love songs and themes!

Another Cute Little Pose 'Round The Music

Music, Music, and More Music

Looking below in our entertainment rack, yeah, there is still another cassette! Well, when we listen to AM radio specially in the early morning, we use it. Or sometimes, I often use it to tune to the regular FM channels.

In terms of CD music and MP3, I also have a collection of hit songs. But majority of my collection is a softcopy of these MP3 musics stored in my PC hardrives. Even in my cellphone, I also have lots and lots of music to listen with!

This is just one of the bits of rocky I can share with you for the meantime. And on the same time also, you got a chance to visit my mini-music room! Well, how does it feel? What can you say? What more can you sugest!? c",)
