Invasion of our Home: 'Living with Angels!'

As part of our second year tenure anniversary in our new home sweet home, I will share with you new updates pertaining to our home. Therefore, here's another invasion.

I know you already knew them. Yup, there are my three cute little angels in the living room. And there were placed in our glass center table. My "Angels of Love" and my "Angel of Abundance". Guess who's with them?! Of course it's no other than me, myself, and I!

Yeah, yeah, yeah! They are together with me...with my pictures! Hehe...

Actually three pictures of mine are with them. The first one, the big that you see is my college grad picture. The other two are glass pictures. The first one is my sexy beach picture wherein I'm wearing a black sando. The other one on the back is another glass picture during my moments in Baguio.

Adding life to this center table are the lucky bamboo indoor plants. The big one that you can see is inside an elongated glass vase with green magic jellies. Green is for health and that one piece of lucky bamboo plant symbolizes a good luck!

Now what can you say on this arrangement? Like it or love it?! See you once more in 0ur next exciting invasions! Have a great day everyone! c",)

Invasion of our Home IX: 'The Installation of Our New Air-Con!'

Welcome back to our home! I knew you really missed visiting our home sweet sweet! Glad to say that we are also celebrating our first year anniversary here in our new home!

After a year of living in this new home, more and more appliances were already bought! Thanks God for all the blessings He had given me! Love you Lord! =)

Last month, the latest appliance that we have bought is the room air-con. And this new air-con was just recently installed!

The Brand - GE

Since we were experiencing too much heat this summer due to the El Nino phenomenon, we decided to buy an air-con for our room. Its purpose also is not only to cool ourselves but to cool our important appliances as well!

And this is what we bought, a GE (General Electric) bran air-conditioner!

Installation of the Air-Con Frame

Doing the Wiring and Electrical

This a 0.75 hp air-con suited to cool a room. This air-con has a modern design. There is no water-leaking in this unit every time you use it so you don't have a problem of putting hose to it for any water drops!

We installed it in our sala. Hmmm...why in the sala and not in our bedroom?! Well, it is because our important appliances that needs to be cooled like our Sony Bravia LCD TV and our LCD flascreen PC were all in our sala! Some other time, we will also bought air-con for our bedroom!

We asked a carpenter to construct an air-con frame in our window. Also another man do the wirings and electrical for our unit.

Covering the Spaces Around Using Insulation

Pre-Final Design!

The construction and welding of the air-con frame started from 9 a.m. 'till 3 p.m. The circuit breakers and an exclusive switch solely for the unit was also done within this time.

To prevent the cool air from coming out, the side of the window's open space were filled with the silver insulation foam coil! Afterwards, the air-con was successfully installed!

As you can see in the last image, this is how our installed unit looks like. It was not yet fully designed. My mom with put other more decorations to it such as window and air-con curtains! Don't worry because this is only my first part of featuring our air-con unit. On the next part of my post, I will let you see the decorated air-con in our wall. For now, I just told you the installation process of our unit!

So see you next time on your next visit here in our home! Feel cool with our newly air-conditioned home...! C",)

The Rise of the Blogs!

Home, Sweet New Home!

Every month, the Rock Land always give you the so called 'flavor of the month'! And this started on the first month of 2010.

To give you a very short recap of every month's flavor, we have:

Have you enjoyed these past 'flavors'? Which of these offerings you love the most?! Did they feed your satisfaction?!

Now what do you think my offering for this month of April?

Invasion of our Home VIII: 'Preparing For Media Noche!'

Welcome 2010 and Thank You very much 2009!!!

Last night, we finally say goodbye to 2009 and we warmly welcomed 2010. As we welcome 2010, I will also welcome you in our home now in the year of 2010. New year means new invasions!

As the first day of the year approached us, you will also be the first to enter our home! Let me share with you how we prepare for the New Year's eve. So c'mon guys!

The Table was Ready!

Do you like the Ambiance?!

I know you already visited our dining area from your previous invasions. But for the coming of the new year, let me introduce to you the new look of our place of fine dining! Here's how it looks now! My mom was the one who chose for the design of our table cloth! It's colorful that will really blends for the coming of more colorful year!

The pictures were taken at around 10pm. As you can see, there were only few foods in the table. Of course, you already recognized the round fruits on the center. Oh, sad to say that we won't able to complete the 12 fruits! But its alright!

Another foods that you see in our table were the chopped crispy ulo and the loafs of bread. Initially, we were planning to buy a kilo of lechon-baboy, but during that day, all the lechons were out of order from almost all the stores. Talagang nagka-ubusan! But then we were still thankful that we still grabbed crispy ulo! So yummy and crispy!

It was Really a Colorful Set!

Round Fruits were Emphasized!

Oops...These Gifts were For the Children!!!

Not included in the pictures were our other handa like the buko salad, my special choco-gelatin, ube-choco cake, softdrinks, mango ice cream, and spaghetti! During that time of picture taking, spaghetti was about to cook. Meanwhile the desserts that I mentioned were inside our refrigerator!

We were so glad that we had an exchange of foods with our neighbors. We trade our salads and ice cream with the spaghetti and 'malagkit' of our neighbors!

As you can see, there were gifts in our sala's center-table. These gifts were wrapped by my mother to be given to the children in our place!

And when the 12 midnight approached, my mom rolled all the round fruits in our table! 'Pampa-swerte daw yun...' as the tradition tells us!

Well, what can you say as you visit our home before the new year's eve? Are you satisfy with the foods we had for media noche! Or do you want to exchange foods just like we did together with our neighbors?!

Again, hope you had a good time as we took a journey in our home during the first day of the year! Have a prosperous New Year!!! c",)

Invasion of our Home VII: 'The Place of My New PC!'

Welcome back to our invasion! I know you really missed your tours around our home.

So by your request, I will allow you back to invade our home! Are you excited?! This time, I will let you see where I place my new PC.

Have your camera with you as we enter our home. Take a glance to the area where my new PC was situated. One...two...c'mon...!!!

Showing My Complete Set!

A Study and An Office Area...!!!

One week before I had my new desktop, I bought a computer table for it. I looked for a sturdy and a multi-function brand in Homeworks, ACE Hardware, and in SM Mall here in our place.

After a series of search, I finally found it in the SM mall. Just like what you see, my computer table is a black sturdy wooden type. It has a three layer table. The bottom layer is for the AVR and for the CPU, the second layer is for the monitor where in this layer, it has another two mini-layers on both side for the speaker. It has a sliding drawer on the second layer for the keyboard. Speakers, optical mouse, web camera, our internet modem, telephone, in addition to the monitor and to the keyboard were situated in the second layer.

Well, on the third layer is a space for the printer or scanner. But since I have no printer or scanner, I used this layer for displays of other things just like what you have seen.
A Cool and Well-Ventilated Place!
Do You Like My Computer Table?!

I Just Put Design on The Third Layer Since I Have No Printer or Scanner Yet!

I decided to place my new PC in our sala in between our green sofa and my bookshelf. I first thought to place it in our bedroom, but since the phone was in our sala, we agreed to locate it beside the telephone. In fact since it is beside my bookshelf, I decided to call this area as my office extension or a study area!

This area also is really cool and well-ventilated. It is located in-between our main door (with a window beside it) and in our window in our dining area so cool breeze revolves around! You really feel cold in this place! So relaxing!

But then even the area was well-ventilated, I still bought a small industrial fan which is only dedicated for my CPU. It was placed in the bottom layer of my computer table directed toward my CPU. I really feel the cool air given by my small industrial fan in my legs!

Now what can you say about my location for my new PC? Do you like where I placed it? And how about my designs...?! Are you also satisfied with the computer table I bought to house my new PC? Feel free to give you comments and suggestion...!!!

See you once more in our next invasion! I know you enjoy your trip...!!! c",)

Welcome To My New Wokstation!

Here is now my new workstation...! You are cordially invited to have a visit...! c",0

As I promised, I will allow you to see my transformed new workstation. This is now the Part 2 of my transfer to the new working area. Recently, you had seen a very simple and plain cube. But now, look at it...! What can you say? How do you like my new workstation?!

Join me as I tour you to my mini-palace in the Corporate World! Have fun...enjoy!

So Neat and Clean...

Artistic and Stylish!

The Area of Art and Elegance...

After our transfer last week, I immediately think of the layouts for the design of my new cube. Of course before doing any arts, I took a picture of the initial plain one to see the improvements and to share it with you! I consider the space, the angle, and the position of my area before creating my own style!

You know, it took me almost one hour and a half in fixing my things and putting them on their own places. Of course, doing the arts in my workstation is included!

Take a glance...! What can you say!? How can you compare it with my previous station?

The Plain and Simple Eventually Transformed!

With Photos and Toys...

An Area for Bravo Cards, Rewards, and Appreciations!

Looking keenly at the details, actually there were many similarities with my previous area. The things, the concept, the toys, the cards, my creations, and of course my pictures were all maintained! I just made a new arrangement with my stuffs.

A friend of mine commented on my previous post about my workstation saying, " I suggest you install all the walls of your cubicle with mirrors so you can see your face wherever you look..."! Well, my answer will be...no need to add mirrors in my cube just to see my face everywhere I look because my cube contains my different photoshots. So everytime and everywhere here in my station, I can always see my photogenic face! Haha...! Besides, my PC also had my picture used as a wallpaper! c",)

Yeah all my officemates look at my station to see my cute photos. They really admire my pictures! One of my teamates and even my manager says that my station is like a gallery of arts and photos! Other says, it is like a scrapbook! Haha!

Papers and Documents were Properly Kept

This Part Keeps Me Relax...!

Visitor's Area...!

Beside my photos, part of my station are my bravo cards! Yeah I have plenty of bravo cards displayed and stored in one part of my cube! For those who didn't know, bravo card in our company is a sign of appreciation. It is a symbol of a job well done or a sign of "Good Job"! It's a form of rewards for every good deeds, good projects, or perfect things you have accomplished! It is also equivalent to a hundred star points! Well, humbly speaking, I already received plenty of these bravo cards! For my one and a half years of stay here in our company, I already got 7 Bravo cards and 4 Gift certificates for my job well done!

So to keep me inspire and do more, I dedicate a place in my area for my bravo cards. I also laminate my gift cards and post it on my walls! Great!

Of course you could also see magnets and toys around my area! Yup, though I already did mature or adult roles, I am still young and playful at heart!

Papers and documents were also placed in one area in my station. My things were placed in their proper places. I always ensure that my workstation is neat and clean. Besides, I always wipe my desk with alcohol everyday to keep if safe, fragrant, and disinfected! All my officemates appreciate my neatness and cleanliness in my area! They termed my workstation as 'yung malinis na area...'! They also appreciate my work of arts and style!

Well, it's now your turn to give your thoughts and feedbacks! Have you enjoy your tour in my area? Well, soon, I will tour you in the evolution of my working station...!!! c",)
