Back in School Not as a Student...But as a Professor

In line with this year's celebration of World's Teachers Day, this blog post truly fits the celebration. Yes, I returned in school but not as a student. I'm already a professor!

Just this August 2018, I already accepted the offer in iAcademy, one of the prestige millennial university of technology here in Makati City to be an ICT (Information Communication Technology) part time professor. 

Yup me share with you two of my favorite selfies in the school's entrance where my outfit of the day fitted the color theme of the academe:

I'm teaching the SHS (Senior High School) students taking the courses of MMA (Multi Media Arts) and AN (Animator). They were graduating students already on Grade 12. 

The courses I'm handling and the students taking the course truly fit my personality. Just like me who is multi-talented and incline with many things such as blogging, running, and vlogging, we share the same passion. They were all artistic and have a passion to arts and Social Media.

Being now as Professor Rocky Chua, iAcademy is now my third home (my first home definitely our own house and second my current company). Though part time in nature, teaching then is now my additional career.

A Wedding Message

My college 'sidekick' (as we termed our friendship since ako 'ung bida at siya ung girl sidekick ko) just got married last January 25, 2014 at the beautiful vintage church of Nuestra Senora De Gracia in Guadalupe, Makati City. Their wedding was one of the coolest, happiest, and most creative wedding I have attended.  My friend Marfe and her now hubby Richmond complemented one another. They were really perfect match during that very special day.

 It seems napahaba masyado ung wedding message ko to my friend in Facebook. Parang pang-blog post na. Therefore as many requested, here na, ipo-post ko na dito sa aking personal blog site so that my avid readers can even read and know some of our moments together with my kwelang sidekick. Here's my wedding message:
 

 Dear Marfe,

First of all, Congratulations for your very beautiful wedding! Yes, 'ung wedding mo ang pinakamasaya at pinaka-comedy na na-attendan ko! Very creative ha! With matching sunglasses pa! San ka pa?! It reflects you and Richmond C. Mallari's personality! Yeah, bagay na bagay talaga kayong dalawa, parehong kwela, parehong kalog, parehong makulit, both comedians, perfect match as they say! Hmmm...hope makahanap din ako ng perfect match ko in due time!

Your wedding also served as our reunion with college classmates and Artisan friends. Ang galing mo ha, napagsama mo uli si Amor Powers at Madam Claudia! Or should I say si Marian Rivera at Angel Locsin! Pero sayang wala si Anne Curtis! Hehehe  Breaking record ka talaga Rhodora X! Another best moments!

Sa wedding mo Marfe Antoniette B. Bermudo, ang daming nag-flashback na-moments! I remember 'ung nililibing nyo pa dati ni Daynee Alpay Saguinsin 'ung mga crushes nyo sa IRTC building. At ang pinaka-best episode natin dalawa 'nung college na masarap balikan, 'ung dalawa tayong umiiyak noon sa Artisan office! Remember one morning after namin bumalik from Tagaytay, iniyakan kita kase nag-away kami ni "Aviona." At the same time, umiiyak ka din kase wala pa kayong project sa Antenna! Haha, winner ang crying moment natin na 'un mare!

And one more thing, I love your initial ni bayaw Richmond ha, "RM" - "Richmond and Marfe" or should I say "Rocky and M." (di ko na buuin ha...hehehe)?! Gaya-gaya lang ang peg! Ako ang kinilig dun ah...Haha!  Kahit kailan talaga related ang mga lovelife natin!

Again congratulations and best wishes to both of you! Oi, ako ang ninong sa first baby niyo ha!

Nga pala may gusto akong makilala nung wedding day niyo, 'ung binulong ko kay bayaw Richmond at sa'yo! Hehehe.. #flirtmode.

Puro kasalan ako this weekend. Last Saturday 'ung kasal niyo, after that, we watched "Bride for Rent" on Sunday! Hayz, gusto ko na tuloy ikasal! ;(

O siya, pang-blog post na ito! Stay cool and happy new couple! Keep the vow of forever.

Since green is her favorite color and green is the motif of her wedding, I tainted the writings in green! Yan ha, malakas ka talaga sa'kin...!

After this wedding, ready na naman sa new event. Oops, hindi pa 'yan binyag ng anak nyo ha...siyempre KASAL ko muna! Hahaha!  And of course, all of you are invited! After that, baptismal  na ng ating mga babies...!

With Rhea Santos and Ivan Mayrina - My First Celebrity Photo in the Digicam!

In my recent post, I have mentioned about my very first celebrity photo using the digital camera. As promised, I'll shared it with you.

Yes, the photo above was my very first photo together with the celebrities taken using the digital camera. I was together with the two GMA-7 news anchors Rhea Santos and Ivan Mayrina. That was taken way back in 2004 during my college days in one of the events I've attended for the journalists.

I already have photos before with the stars prior to this one during my high school days but taken via analogue camera, the one which uses film. This photo was then remarkable since this was my very first photo with the celebrities taken using the newly launched digicam and was uploaded in the previous hit social networking site Friendster.  

I was then thin during that time but still a photogenic student. I was the Managing Editor of our official student publication during those days.

This photo also reminds me of my successful college life, me being a student achiever in different fields. Things which I will truly cherish on forever...! (RCB)

'The Avengers' Movie Date!

"The Avengers" is the first hit Hollywood movie of 2012. And this movie is another memorable movie to me!

Two weeks ago, I had a quality time watching this movie together with my ex-loveteam! Yeah, she was my College love team. And we agreed to watch that said movie together. And that movie served also as our reunion!

It was 2007 when we last saw each other. I graduated on that year while on the other hand, she was fulfilling her last year in college!

Our love story was inspired by the love team of Angel Locsin and Richard Gutierrez. In many ways, we were like them! =)

After we heard that Angel and Richard are set to be reunited in a new movie sooner this year, we didn't let ourselves left behind. Yeah, "nauna pa kami sa kanila magreunite!" Hahaha...!

We truly enjoyed watching this said movie together in a Last Full Show! So sad that I didn't brought my digicam on that time! "Sana I can share with you our photos noon at ngayon...!"

I'm looking forward to have another movie date with her...soon! c",)

The Movie Replay!

It's been 5 years from now when this movie of Angel Locsin and Richard Gutierrez became a huge hit! You know that before, I really hate this movie and the 'chardgel' love team since they were both Kapuso (knowing that I'm a certified Kapamilya). But I didn't know, eventually, I will love this love team very much. Yup, because they really symbolize my longest ran love affair in college! This movie as well as the other Angel-Richard movies reflects our love story!

Though I really very much recovered from that 'Mulawin' like love affair in college which started on the 14th day of September 2005, the whole thing flashes on my mind when I watched again this move last Sunday night. GMA-7 replay this movie via their SNBO (Sunday Night Box Office) TV program.

Hmmm...Do We Have a Kissing Scene Like This?!

Look At Their Clothes, They Were Like the Clothes We Wear!

I can't explain what I feel that night! Am I still feeling 'kilig'? Am I falling inlove again with the same person I loved 5 years ago? Or I'm just reminiscing the feelings and moments we had before?!

Just like this movie replay, "grabe...parang na-replay din ang pakiramdam..." Oops...but not that stronger! Just sparks of feelings smiled in my heart! "Habang pinanonood ko sina Angel at Richard, grabe...kaming-kami 'un!" The way they act, the way they showed their romance, we were like them before! OMG!

And look even the way they dress...yup, they were like us! If you can still remember how we dressed in college, we were like Angel and Richard! "As in, ganun na ganun..." "Yung mga sinuot nila dun sa movie na'to, nasuot na din namin...!"Haha!

Me, My Lover, My Bestfriend and Her Lover!

Oops...if Angel and Richard have their own best friends and sidekicks through the persons of Jennelyn Mercado and Mark Herras, "meron din kami.."! They were Marfe and Seth! Yeah, my bestfriend named Marfe was Jennelyn Mercado while her former love interest Seth Infante was Mark Herras! Great! Now we formed a double date, a double romance! I really missed this!

One of the best moments I remembered most between the four us was during the day that me, Marfe, Seth, and my lover were jammi'n together in our publication office. There were drums in our PA office. My lover and Seth were beating the drums like a band. Marfe and I both feel the ultimate 'kilig' hearing them playing the musical drums. Marfe even offered candies to them. While me just stayed in-front of the computer and enjoyed watching them! What a great moment that time! I really love it...! Superb emotions! Two pairs were combined just like in this movie.

In the movie, I love seeing the picnic scenes of these four people. They chase each other. I remembered then our moments. The words of my kontrabida EIC once registered on my mind saying, "kung sila naghahabulan sa park kayo (referring to us) nagpapa-picture sa garden...!"

And just like the role of Angel and Richard (Pia and Eric) in this movie, both of us gave rise to the so-called savior! Hmmm...who's the savior between the two of us?!

Truly, "Let The Love Begin" was one of the Chardgel movies that reflects our love story. "Nakikita ko sa unang pelikula na'to ang aming pinagsamahan..." No one can deny this...! "Napapangiti na lang ako habang naaalala ko ang aming nakaraan...!!!C",)

June: A Back To School Special!

Time is really fast...! We are already in the month of June! Oh, we already reached the half part of 2010! Oh so fast!

Speaking of the month of June, the first thing that comes on our mind is school! Yup, June is a back to school month! Every students as well as their parents were all preparing for school. Some students were excited to return to school. Others did not!

Am I excited to be back in school?! What are the things I missed about schooling? Is there someone I missed in school?!

But in my status today, I am not anymore a student! I am currently a professional employee. What then will be the impact of this back to school in my life?

Well for this month of June, the Rock Land will be a back to school special! Yeah, I'm not anymore a student but the years wherein I was a student were so memorable! I can never reached my status today if I didn't end up my school days successfully! So for this month, allow me to give a special tribute to my past school days as well as to our present schooling.

So for this month, expect many school-related topics, humors, and interesting stories about the academe. Of course we will also tackle different out of school topics! But then I allot this month or name this month as The Rock Land's Back to School Special! It's my way of saying 'Thank You' to a very fruitful school days I had before...! C",)
