Tips and Tricks to Prepare a Healthy Christmas Party

Christmas is the holiday closest to our hearts. It is the event wherein we deem it the time of joy and warmth. After all, Christmas season stands for having merry with our loved ones.  By tradition, we celebrate Christmas by having get-togethers with the family for party celebrations. And by of these party celebrations, we create lasting memories that instills deep in our hearts.

As Christmas draws nearer and the party planning sets to happen, Beko Philippines, Europe’s leading brand of home appliances, listed five simple tips and tricks to help you prepare a memorable and fun party while promoting health and wellness for the family.

Shop early to beat the rush

Going to the stores as early as now can liberate you from the tights and cramps of the holiday rush. The items that you’ll need for your party may also be cheaper and still available as compared when you’ll buy them days before Christmas. Remember that early is ease and, late is stress.

Hoist the tree early

Decorating for Christmas as soon as possible can make a huge help in planning for your desired party. It can make you happy, free you the burden of haste and open you up with creative ideas. So, as early as now, bring in the holiday spirit, deck the halls, and put up the Christmas tree.

Budget the spend

Christmas giving is not about amounting to the expensive items.  For starters set only a price you can spend and list the things you need to buy for the people you’ll gift. By doing so, you can avoid impulsive buying, mental anxiety, and save up some cash when the merry season ends.

Fuel the fun with food

An ingredient of a great party is good food. It keeps the party alive and well as people wouldn’t be participating in they’re hungry. Vegetables, legumes, fruits bread cereal, rice, pasta, lean meats, kinds of seafood, milk yogurt, and natural cheese are your go-to healthy ingredients to a party without the panic for the menus are organic.

Make the party heathy binges

Make sure that the party food binges are healthy. Keep away from serving artificial or ready-made foods that are either too fatty, sugary, and oily. The menu should be with the organics of the lean and green for the Christmas party’s essence is to celebrate, not to gain weight.

Utilize the right appliances

The holidays can be a real tasking, so the appliances you use should help maximize efficiency and productivity in preparing dishes for your party. Using it shouldn’t tire you and instead, free you from worries.

When cooking, the right cookers can provide a significant aid, especially when it comes to doing multiple dishes. Thankfully, some cookers now come with features to address this problem.

This is a perfect timing to get a new cooker as Beko is launching this Christmas Season a freestanding cooker FVR62630DXDTL with Split&Cook® technology. The F4 Christmas!

As part of our yearly presentation every Christmas season here in our company, our team created a video presentation following the theme of "Christmas with Music Icons."

In our video, we combined the hottest music icons like Bruno Mars, Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, Wonder Girl, Masculados, Pussycat Dolls, and F4. And I belong to the F4 group wherein we portrayed these legendary Asinovela boys performing their hit "Can't Loose You."

I won't share you for now our team's video presentation which made us grabbed the Second Prize awards during the actual competition. But, I'll share with you some of our behind the scene photos! Here they are:

Reliving the "Meteor Garden" Fever!

Do You Still Remember this Scene?!

 The New F4!

Making You Feel the Real Spirit of Christmas!
If Taiwan, China, Japan, and Korea have their own versions of F4 via their "Meteor Garden," "Hana Yori Dango" and "Boys Over Flowers," the Philippines then has its own version, and we are the very own Pinoy version of this hit Asianovela boy group! Convinced?! Definitely!

Happy Holidays everyone! (RCB)

My 2012 Company Christmas Party Attire - Black and White Masquerade Ball Theme!

Once again, I surprised my officemates in my attire in our recently concluded 2012 Company Christmas Party with a theme of "Black and White Masquerade Ball."

On the party, I didn't only wore a mask or came in a black and white costume. Rather, I appeared with my long curly hair!

Check out my outfit on the said prestige event of the year. Here it goes:

My 2012 Company Christmas Party Attire

A Johnny Depp / Zorro / Phantom of the Opera Inspired Costume
Many were thinking and guesting if who I was portraying on that night. Well, my outfit simply portrayed a modern Zorro or a Johnny Depp / Phantom of the Opera Hollywood inspired getup!

The event took place Friday night of December 7, 2012 in the Seventh High Bar in the BGC High Street.

On the Center of Attraction!

The Event Took Place in the Seventh High Club
This was actually my second time to party in Seventh High. Remember last June 2012, I was also there for the Yahoo OMG Awards presscon were I mingled with the different celebrities and personalities!

On my next post, I'll share with you more relating to our yearly Christmas party?! How do you find my look on that said night?! (RCB)

A Koreanovela Heartthrob!

This is my glamorous attire in our recently concluded Christmas party here in my new company! A very elegant look where everyone got amazed of!

They say I really look like a Korean heartthrob superstar! Some thought that I was a K-Pop rocker! My suit perfectly fits our theme! And all voted for me as the "Star of the Night!"

Actually I was really shinning that night! My hair was in Korean style. It was held hard by a wax and a spraynet with glitters! Yup, I was really shinning that night from hair to shoe! A shinning, shimmering, spledid Rocky!

I even asked one of my teammates to put an eyeliner to my eyes! "Kahit may kasakitan kase hindi ako sanay, tiniis ko" just for the sake of this once in a lifetime event! My very first Christmas party here in my new second home! =) And thanks God, "nagbunga din ang pinaghirapan kahit papano!""

And you wonder why I'm infront of the microphone up on the stage?! Yes, we performed! Each team will have their own team presentation. And we performed it live! And the result...the result is...we grabbed the first prize, a Php10,000 in cash! Great!

We're so happy that very night. Even though I failed to get the Samsung LCD 32" TV major prize, I'm still happy that we went home not empty handed! Our team got majority of the awards and giveaways from Male Best Dressed to minor prizes got by each of our teammates up to the Best Team Presentation! By the way, the two grand prizes were grabbed by our manager and by one of my teammates! Cool! c",)

The Rock on the Glam Rock!

Our Year End Christmas Party for 2010 was successfully conducted last December 10 at the Hard Rock Cafe! And our theme was Glam Rock!

I know all of you really await for my attire for the said party. And I will reveal it to you now!

Here's how I look on the said Glam Rock party:

Haha! It's really The Rock on the Glam Rock! I really look like a real rocker on that glamor night!

All of my officemates truly appreciate my look during that night! They say, I really transformed! Some say, they didn't recognized me! Some thought, I was the rock band performer! Other says, I really look like the American Idol Adam Lambert! But many see me as a vampire! Yup, many say I look like Edward Cullen in the hit "Twilight" Saga!

I was an all-black man during that night. I wore a black leather jacket, a black fit sando inside, a black hand gloves, black accessories, black skinny jean, and black make-up! Black eye lashes, black eye make-up, and black lipstick were really in my face. And take note, my nail was even coated with black nail polish!

Do you like how I look during that night?! What can you say about my attire?! Do I really fit for our Glam Rock theme?!

So sad that I didn't got the Best In Costume Award for the said party! We came late because of heavy traffic along Makati so the committee didn't see me! All the people in the party were really voting for me. But it's too late! Hayz...better luck next time! I was so disappointed during that time!

On my next posts, I will share with you more pictures taken during that said Glam Rock party! Keep rockin' on! C",)
