Back in School Not as a Student...But as a Professor

In line with this year's celebration of World's Teachers Day, this blog post truly fits the celebration. Yes, I returned in school but not as a student. I'm already a professor!

Just this August 2018, I already accepted the offer in iAcademy, one of the prestige millennial university of technology here in Makati City to be an ICT (Information Communication Technology) part time professor. 

Yup me share with you two of my favorite selfies in the school's entrance where my outfit of the day fitted the color theme of the academe:

I'm teaching the SHS (Senior High School) students taking the courses of MMA (Multi Media Arts) and AN (Animator). They were graduating students already on Grade 12. 

The courses I'm handling and the students taking the course truly fit my personality. Just like me who is multi-talented and incline with many things such as blogging, running, and vlogging, we share the same passion. They were all artistic and have a passion to arts and Social Media.

Being now as Professor Rocky Chua, iAcademy is now my third home (my first home definitely our own house and second my current company). Though part time in nature, teaching then is now my additional career.

November 2011 - "Looking Back and Looking Forward to My Corporate Stories!"

This month of November 2011 is really a great transition to my corporate career. I am facing a new career in the different company and at the same time leave my present.

Yup, I already filed my resignation to my present company last October 14, 2011 and will take effective on November 17, 2011. In other words, I will leave this company 15 days later.

After 3 years and 9 months of fruitful career, I decided to leave my current company to look for a better opportunities and greater career growth! As they say, for "greener pasture!"

For this month of November 2011, I like to pay tribute to this company. I will share with you some of my memorable experiences here. I'll share with you my ups and downs here, all the challenges and success I have with it for the past 3 years and 9 months!

What are the opportunities I got here?! What is my golden age and my dark age here in my present company?! How about the sweet love lives I had?! Who are the friends I had with and of course the 'kontrabidas' who made my corporate life miserable?! All these things pertaining to my present employer will all be yours as my special feature for this month of November!

And of course, I will also give you a glimpse to the new career I will have in my new company. So exciting...!!! Oh yeah!

February 2011 - "The Red Month!"

February 2011 is truly a red month for me this year! Red for this month symbolizes three things. Again these were fortune, career and love!

The first red for me in this month of February is about fortune. Yup, this is the Chinese New Year that many of us were celebrating. Just like me who have a Chinese blood, this celebration is also significant for me. In February 3, 2011, join me as I welcome the coming of the year of the rabbit!

The second red for me in this month is about career. Yeah, this coming February 11, 2011, I will be celebrating my third year tenure here in my office! And why red?! It's because the color that represents our company is red!

And of course the third red is about love! All of us will be celebrating Valentines Day this February 14, 2011. And just like we always do every month of love, I'll share with my different romance and love stories!

So are you excited for my three red offerings this month?! I know you really are! Fortune, career, and love truly speak in my life every month of February!

Am I be luckier this year of the rabbit?! Will I be successful in my current employment position?! And will I finally found my perfect match?! Well, we'll see! And let's start preparing for these three reds starting this month!

The Industry of Mining!

Mining industry nowadays is one of the fast growing industry! The High School Class Picture IV

After my most romantic Junior year in high school, let us now proceed to my last year in college, my Senior or fourth year high school year!

If in my third year, love and career collided, this year it was more for career!

The competition for the honor graduating students really intensified! The battle between the top 10 students were really seen!

But thanks God! He further gave me His blessings! I graduated being the First Honorable Mention student! My final grade was really closer with our valedictorian and salutatorian! So proud that I graduated with honor! =)

But it was not all! Besides being a First Honorable graduate, I was also crowned as the Best in Social Studies and the "Mamamahayag Ng Taon"!

What more, my fourth year high school days were really a successful one! I participated in the different seminars and trainings, I won in the different Quiz Bees (in Science, World History, Pop Quiz, etc.)! And I was also the topnotcher in our NSAT exam! Great!

The blessings did not stopped here. Before I enter college, I got my DOST scholarship! Thank you Lord!

We're already now in the month of February! And when we are speaking of February, only one word comes in our mine...and that is Valentines!

2.) FORTUNE - Chinese New Year formally opens or starts in February! The year of the tiger will begins to reign this month. Since our lives were very much influenced by Chinese beliefs and traditions and since I have a Chinese blood, for sure I will post articles dedicated to Chinese new year! "Kung Hei Fat Choi..."!

3.) CAREER - And most of all. February is my second year anniversary! Yeah, it's my second year anniversary in my company! February 11, 2008 to be exact was the date that I started to work here in my third company! I will share with you some of my memorable experiences here in my company. And of course, I will tell you how I started here, how I grow, how my career here really blooms!! It will gonna be looking back and beyond here in my corporate work!
