Is Genesis 8:7-12 Coincidence with the Date 8/7/12?!

Looking at the date 8/7/12 is also similar to the bible verse called Genesis 8: 7-12. The said verse narrates the great blood during the time of Noah which eliminated the people on earth!
Since the rain didn't stop (take note that we have no typhoon and these heavy rains were only brought by the Habagat winds) causing the rising of more floods, many people thought that this is the start of the end of the world! They compared the flood we were experiencing to the great flood on the bible.

And bible also states that God promised that he will never end the world again through great flood! Preferably in other means.
Genesis 8:7-12 and the date 8/7/12, is this really a coincidence of similar events from the past and of the present?! Let me hear your thoughts about this! c",)

Four Days Free Foods

Right after the "Ondoy" calamity, what happened next is FFF!
Yup, FFF...that is "Four days Free Foods in our company! Solved out all my meals need in our office. After the disaster, here comes a blessing in-disguise. A blessing of foods...foods...and foods for four consecutive days. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner...all were given free in our company!
Actually the giving of free foods just exactly happened last Saturday on the very day of the typhoon. As I told you on my previous typhoon stories, before we went home on the afternoon of Saturday, lunch of canned goods (like Maling, CDO, lechon paksiw, and sisig) were served to us. Together with the hot rice cooked in our rice cooker here in our pantry, we didn't feel anymore the hunger besides the heavy rainfalls of "Ondoy"!
McDonald's Breakfast Meal with an Orange Juice
On Monday, the first day of our office days after the harsh typhoon, I was amazed to see bucket meals of KFC fried chickens in our pantry. Just beside the fried chickens was the rice cooker full of cooked rice. Since I was in a nightshift work, our office admin as well as our managers told as that we had something to eat for dinner. Those KFC bucket meals were all for us!
Together with my officemates, we fully and happily ate our fried chicken dinner. Though the chickens were already cooked hours ago, it still yummy to eat! Actually I ate two chickens in the dinner then since more chickens were left on the morning, I also ate another one for breakfast! My stomach felt slightly uncomfortable in a while!
On the morning of Tuesday, another food was served but now for breakfast. This time, McDonald breakfast meal was served to us. Fried rice, fried egg, and hotdog longganisa with orange juice as our drink were ours for breakfast. I went home with the full stomach that day!
Barbecue...barbecue...barbecue...Insufficient for Me!

The next succeeding foods we had for dinner on the next days were pork barbecue, a piece of shanghai roll (lumpia), and a small plate of spaghetti. Those foods were served in a paper plate with a plastic spoon and fork. Those foods were a batch package ordered in Ambers, one of the prominent restaurant near in our place.
The food that night were too good and delicious. I feel so 'bitin' right after I ate them though there was enough rice. But then since I was a night shifter, I should eat the foods just enough served for me!
The breakfast served to us on the next morning was ordered in our canteen. Again, fried rice, fried egg, and spam packed in Styrofoam for the day. I don't have an appetite for that morning so I don't feel to eat even my officemate gave me her longganisa!
On the last free dinner we had, it was from Chowking. A variety of packed meal like sweet and sour and baby back ribs were served. I was given and eaten the second meal.
Hayz...after the heavy rain, food were poured and flowing! I wish these would happen again for a lifetime in our company. NO...NO...NO...NOT the cruel typhoon but the kind serving of free foods and meal! Oh...lots of these foods will make me chubby, I will lost my diet and my sexy hot body!!
But then even no free foods, it always good to have no disaster like "Ondoy"! Again I am so thankful that I was not that much affected by this cruel storm. And I was even so thankful for the free foods we had for four days here in our company! Thanks and Thanks...!!! c",)

Stranded In a Bus Story!
If you think my stormy day story ended after we go home from our office, you're definitely wrong!
Actually, this was the start of my more challenging experience on "Ondoy"!
People Walking on the Flooded Street
An Overheaded Flood that Lets the People to Stay on the Roof
Still, The Road was Not Passable!
I got stranded in the bus! Yeah, I sleep in the bus. For almost 1 day, overnight...I was in the bus.
This is my story:
I Used to Watch All The James Bond Movies While in the Bus
Two Small Glasses of Taho Filled My Stomach
Thanks I Still Had An Sky Flakes Baon
After we left our office, we ride on to the brand new car of my officemate. Actually we were all seven (including the owner of the car who drive us) in the car. We tried to fit ourselves just to go home.
Each one of my officemates ride off to their respected places. Only the five of us left. We left our office at 1pm. We stayed on the car from 1pm up to 4pm due to traffic. Yup, we got stranded in my officemate's car on the way to EDSA Buendia because of the flood.
Since no mobility, Me together with my lady officemate decided to ride off the car and walk our way going to the Buendia Station of MRT. At 4:15pm, we were walking in the middle of the flooded EDSA!
As we go along nearer to the Buendia Terminal, the flood seems deeper. My officemate held me tight (since I'm taller with her)! We were not alone in the middle of the flood. We were walking together with the crowded people!
Atlas...we were finally in the Buendia MRT Station! We faced more and more crowd of people! Until we realized, we were already in the train. Thanks God, we got a seat!
At the North EDSA Station, we ride off the train. We moved away from each other and go to our respective place. My officemate decided to went first to Trinoma, while I already go down the MRT station to ride in the bus.
This was the Road After the Flood
Low Flood was Still on the Road
The Road was Passable for Motorcycles
At the North EDSA, a very long traffic chain shocked my face. At the same time, more crowd of people were walking!
Hayz...I already got an aircon bus! Since more bus infront of me, I prefer to choose the best and the most beautiful one. I ride in a fully air conditioned with Video On Board bus named 'AeroBus'!
Since many people were already on the bus, I still got a seat. Starting at exactly 6pm, I was already in the bus!
Time goes by. Minutes and hours were passed! I realized our bus was not moving. We were still in Trinoma. Stranded in a very long traffic, our bus was not moving at all! 7pm...8pm...9pm...9:45pm...our bus was still in Trinoma North EDSA!
Many people on the bus get angry and decided to walk together with the crowd of people outside walking! I decided to remained in the bus together with the few passengers. Minutes passed, I asked the driver to allowed me to go down outside the bus to take a pee!
Up to 10pm, our bus stayed in Trinoma. The driver just opened the video board and allowed us to watch the James Bond movies! The bus had a collection of all the James Bond movies packed in one DVD!
People Decided To Walk Rather To Stay In the Stranded Bus
In The Morning After The Flood
Slowly, our bus was now moving! Slowly like a turtle walking, I then realized we were already in Monumento. At 11:15 pm, we already passed the statue of Andres Bonifacio!
I thought we could now passed the road and I could go home within that day, but then this will be the longest time I would be in the bus!
Yeah...we couldn't passed the road going to Valenzuela. The Cosmos Road and BBB were fully flooded! The flood was really overhead! So, we need to stay in the bus. We got stranded for a long period of time. That only means, I will sleep in the bus. I will stayed in the bus overnight!
My brother keep on texting me. My mother told that I should not go home. I should stay in the office. I couldn't text him back since I was no load that time. All the stores in the street were all closed! They didn't knew, I was already out in the office. I was in a bus for a long period of time!
Time passed! 11pm...12 midnight...1am...2am...3am...4am...up to 5am I was still on the bus! I sleep due to tiredness and fatigue! All the James Bond movies played in the bus were all finished! No more movies or sound in our bus but only an AM news broadcast! I ate no dinner at all! My last meal was in the afternoon. The meal provided by our office Admins!
At 4am and 5am, thanks God, there was a 'Taho' vendor who got up in our bus and sell taho to us. I bought two glasses of taho for 10 pesos each. The two small taho in a plastic glass together my sky flakes biscuit baon served as dinner and breakfast for my hungry stomach!
At 7am, our bus moved slowly from Monumento. At 8am were already in the middle of McArthur Highway! At 9am, we finally crossed the former flooded roads Cosmos and BBB. The flood then in those roads were now low. But still, the roads were all surrounded by brown sticky wet clay! I still saw some of the people on the roof tops. Many other cars were submerged on the floor! While on the bus, I still got the opportunity to shot pictures of some flooded scenes!
From AeroBus where I first ride, we asked to transfer to the other bus since they need to go back home. The second bus where we transfer took us home!
At exactly 10 am in the morning I finally got home! My mom was so happy to see me back home!
Well, this ended my story due to typhoon "Ondoy"! I still thank God that we were not affected much by this cruel storm the way he do to others! Thank you Lord! c",)
