Our 2012 Company Halloween Trick or Treat!

On the last day of October, our company had its annual "Halloween Trick or Treat." Yup, this is the day where the employees can bring their children dressed in costume in the office and enjoy the "Trick or Treat."

Aside from the children's "Trick or Treat" and the best in costume contest for the kids, we even had the so-called 'Decorate Your Area" contest. This is a team competition of the best dressed area. The theme or motif is up for the team.

And here how our office looks like during the event. Four teams battled for the best decorated area! I arranged them according to the contest's official result:

1st Prize - "Pirates of the Caribbean"

2nd Prize - "Willie Wonca and the Chocolate Factory"

3rd Prize - "The Cemetery"

4th Prize - "Pixar"
Our team got the second prize. Yeah, our decoration is inspired by the "Willie Wonca and the Chocolate Factory." One of our teammates was dressed as Willie Wonca. I'll share oir photos in my next post. We even wore green wigs to complete the cast.

Aside from that, we even up a chocolate fountain and a cupcake stand. You will those on my next succeeding posts.

Of the four themes, which do you like best?! (RCB)

Invasion of our Home VII: 'The Place of My New PC!'

Welcome back to our invasion! I know you really missed your tours around our home.

So by your request, I will allow you back to invade our home! Are you excited?! This time, I will let you see where I place my new PC.

Have your camera with you as we enter our home. Take a glance to the area where my new PC was situated. One...two...c'mon...!!!

Showing My Complete Set!

A Study and An Office Area...!!!

One week before I had my new desktop, I bought a computer table for it. I looked for a sturdy and a multi-function brand in Homeworks, ACE Hardware, and in SM Mall here in our place.

After a series of search, I finally found it in the SM mall. Just like what you see, my computer table is a black sturdy wooden type. It has a three layer table. The bottom layer is for the AVR and for the CPU, the second layer is for the monitor where in this layer, it has another two mini-layers on both side for the speaker. It has a sliding drawer on the second layer for the keyboard. Speakers, optical mouse, web camera, our internet modem, telephone, in addition to the monitor and to the keyboard were situated in the second layer.

Well, on the third layer is a space for the printer or scanner. But since I have no printer or scanner, I used this layer for displays of other things just like what you have seen.
A Cool and Well-Ventilated Place!
Do You Like My Computer Table?!

I Just Put Design on The Third Layer Since I Have No Printer or Scanner Yet!

I decided to place my new PC in our sala in between our green sofa and my bookshelf. I first thought to place it in our bedroom, but since the phone was in our sala, we agreed to locate it beside the telephone. In fact since it is beside my bookshelf, I decided to call this area as my office extension or a study area!

This area also is really cool and well-ventilated. It is located in-between our main door (with a window beside it) and in our window in our dining area so cool breeze revolves around! You really feel cold in this place! So relaxing!

But then even the area was well-ventilated, I still bought a small industrial fan which is only dedicated for my CPU. It was placed in the bottom layer of my computer table directed toward my CPU. I really feel the cool air given by my small industrial fan in my legs!

Now what can you say about my location for my new PC? Do you like where I placed it? And how about my designs...?! Are you also satisfied with the computer table I bought to house my new PC? Feel free to give you comments and suggestion...!!!

See you once more in our next invasion! I know you enjoy your trip...!!! c",)

The Fruits of All My 'Good Jobs'!

Recently, I had told you about my Bravo Cards and Star Points! Yup, here in our company, every good things you have done, every good jobs you have made, and every projects you have successfully accomplished, you will be given a 'Bravo Card' or Star Points as a sign of 'kudos' or great appreciation!

Humbly speaking, I already received so many Bravo Cards and Star points here in our company knowing that I am only one and a half year old here. Each cards has an equivalent number of points which corresponds to a star points!

Hmmm...what are the significant of these star points?! How then did I came up with these items!?

All The Items I Got...!

Cool Stuffs for my Cool Place...!

Souvenir Photos of the Souvenir Items!

As a default, each Bravo card has an equivalent of 100 star points. It's up to the giver if he wants to increase the points in the Bravo card. Like in my case, one of my bravo card corresponds to 200 points since I lead or I hold a specific project successfully in our company.

You will collect all these points until they increase. You're just like saving a number of points in a bank! These number of accumulated points will allow you to avail or redeem different souvenir items from the company. In other words, your points will eventually turn into a money!

All in all with these bravo cards including my other star points earned, I accumulated a total number of 1,890 points or in terms of money, Php1,890 or $1,890!

The Chrome... I Really Love!

Red Notebooks...Thanks I Got Two!

The Highlighter Cup with Highlighters...So Colorful!

You may ask, how much each item cost?! Well, these were the breakdowns:

Mug = 500 points (half prized promo = 250)
Notebook = 400 points
Highlighter Cup = 500 points
Chrome = 600 points
Emoticon Magnet = 500 points
Ballpen = 100 points

Now have you already computed?

Oops...Don't Forget the Mug
!

Two Brilliant Ballpens...Still Great!

And the 'Ematicon Magnet'...Choose Your Emo of the Day!

So, with my total accumulated points, imagine how many items I got! Well, count them all in the image above!

My other officemates get jealous or insecure with the items I got. I was the one who got the most number of items! In fact, I got all the variety of items they sold! Wow! How great this day to me. I was really, really thankful and inspire!

Of course I love all the items I got. Hmmm...if you'll ask me what's my favorite...? Ummm...I think the highlighter cup and the chrome! Yeah just like what you see in the pictures, they were atractive and perfect for display!

Second to my like is the red notebook. Yeah because they were really hard, glossy, and 'matibay'! Next is the mug! FYI...this is now my second mug. I got the first one from their February contest wherein I was a runner-up!

Then the Emoticon magnet like you can see is really nice. It contains different smiley or face emotions where you can set by the square white magnet. I like it second to the list though still perfect for my wall display because its magnetic attraction to the wall was very weak!

Oh, I don't even like the ballpens! But then since I still have remaining points, I avail it! And glad that I even got two!

Now, it's your time to speak! What can you say?! Will you still love these items?! Were they attractive to you! Again, you are really free to speak and post comments! Hope you enjoy my share...!!! c",)

My Workstation

These pictures were taken from my workstation. During free hours, I just took photos of my work area. How does it looks? Did it looks good?

I was the one who made designs in my area. Besides seeing photos of me around the corners, there were stuff toys, robots, mini-cars, and planner on my side. Each files and papers were also arranged accordingly. I hate mess! I have phone with ear phone of course beside my flatscreen LCD PC.

My table is so smooth and clean. Everyday before start working after my arrival, I ensure to clean or wipe my table with alcohol. Therefore it smells good. And of course, dirt and germs free! My pedestal below, it was equip not only with supplies but with lots and lots of snacks, chips, and food. But then I took them with extra care to avoid rats and other insects!

Some of my inspiring poems and literay piece was also posted in my walls. And before I forgot, I have my altar on the CPU of my PC. They just give my constant inspiration and even wipe out my stress and pressures! Added to the twist is my music and sounds on my PC whenever I'm working infront of it!

And on the other side of my wall, bravo cards and other appreciation and recognitions.

If I have more extra time, then I will rearrage my stuffs to have a better working area. Will this looks good? Well, you have your rights to judge my working place! c",)
