The Girls in the Christian Bautista and Jose Mari Chan's Versions of "Beautiful Girl"

"Beautiful Girl" is the hit song popularized by Jose Mari Chan in the 80's. And it was revived by Christian Bautista in 2009.

I have watched the music videos of these two song versions and compared them. And glad that in the two music videos, different famous actresses were joined together.

In the Jose Mari Chan music video, it was the Megastar Sharon Cuneta, the Star for All Season Vilma Santos, the Asia'a songbird Regine Velasquez, and Primera Kontrabida Cherrie Gil who were altogether.

Meanwhile, in the the modern Christian Bautista video, the girls were the IT Girl Solenn Heusaff, the gorgeous model Georgina Wilson, the host-singer actress Anne Curtis, and the multi-awarded actress Angel Locsin.

Sam and his partner Kurt Hugo Schneider visited Manila for an Asian Tour Concert. I got a chance to meet, mingle, interview, and pose pictures with him!

Sam Tsui plus Kurt Hugo Schneider plus Rocky Chua Batara equals ROCK!

Today in the modern world, YouTube is the easiest medium for stardom. If you have the talents, guts, and charm, show it to the world via YouTube and you will instantly rose in fame!  

Well, this is how these two heartthrobs started. Known for their covers and medleys, Sam Tsui and Kurt Hugo Schneider eventually became a popular YouTube duo who captivated the hearts of many fans (including me of course) around the world!  

Many fans were really wishing to see these cute guys in person. Well, their wish was granted as they came live in Manila for the very first time via their Asian Tour Concert which took place in SMX Convention Center, Pasay City last June 25 and 26, 2014 where they performed and serenaded fans with their music! But prior to that said concert, I was lucky enough to meet, mingle, and talk to them in person during our grand presscon!

On the Monday afternoon of June 23, we had a fun lunch together with these boys in the Eclipse Lounge of Solaire Resorts and Casino. While enjoying our meal, we enjoyed at the same time asking questions to them. And yes, they answered our questions willingly and shared interesting facts about themselves.

According to Sam and Kurt, they enjoyed doing collaborative covers of hit songs by Adele, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars and Katy Perry. Their own-made versions of the hit songs touched thousands of people around the world!

The duo is really best in doing creative mash-ups! And yes, they gave sample of their cool mash-ups during the event! I will share with you one on my next post. :) The most notably mash-up they made is the Michael Jackson Medley!

Sam shared to me how he started from a humble beginning. Since he is inclined to music, he started his YouTube channel as a music-focused channel! Kurt then became his production partner to give viewers a creative touch of his cover versions. Eventually, each song on his channel garnered millions of views! To date, his videos have amassed over 500 million hits on YouTube alone and in 2013, debuted his original album "Make It Up." Wow!  

On the other hand, Kurt also shared his own success story. It's glad to know that Kurt is songwriter, director and producer of films, music, videos, and recordings. He has over four million YouTube subscribers, 25 million monthly views, 800+ million total views, and over 150 videos on his YouTube channel called KurtHugoSchneider. Amazing!

Kurt is the man behind the production of most of Sam's music and videos, and also known for collaborating with other YouTube stars and musicians.

Sam and Kurt already created a big name for themselves on the internet. What more, their partnership truly created a bigger impact, a sure-fire viral hit! And me as a blogger and social media master joining them, what more can you expect?! #BiggestHit 

Since I already started singing my cover versions of the different songs shared and uploaded in Sound Cloud and already have my two YouTube channels namely RockyBatara and  Vids of Rocks, I'm thinking to have a mash-up with them sooner in the coming days! What do you think?!

Sam and Kurt were already recognized in the mainstream. They already featured in the popular TV shows and different commercials in the U.S.A.

A 7-Month Old Baby Dances the 'Gangnam Style!'

I've just watched this new viral video from YouTube as it was featured in the late night news of Net 25. In the video, it shows a 7-month old baby dancing the Psy's hit dance craze, "Gangnam Style."

The baby is so cute! And he was able to dance to the beat of the hit song. After watching the news program, I immediately search this on YouTube to share it with you.

See it yourself! Here is the cool viral video featuring the 7-month old baby doing the Gangnam:

"Gangnam Style" is truly a huge phenomenal hit all over the world! Even a cute little baby like this was influenced by it! Thanks Psy for bringing us this dance craze!

My Interview with Thai Heartthrob Mario Maurer!

Two months ago, I was able to talk and interview the Thai heartthrob Mario Maurer during the promo of his very first Filipino movie, "Suddenly It's Magic" pairing him with the young actress Erich Gonzales.  

The first time that I talked with Mario was during the Media Conference of their movie. But during that time, he was in Thailand so the interviewed was conducted via Skype. Then the second time that I talked with him was during the grand presscon of his movie where he arrived in the country to promote their movie.

Meeting this one of the hottest international stars Mario Maurer is one of the highlights of my 2012 achievement. One of the things I should thank for this year!

The "Amalayer" Song Parody!

I've just watched the recent episode of "Gandang Gabi Vice" this night, November 25, 2012. And two of the guests of Vice Ganda are the Antonio brothers Isaiah and Andrai.  

Before, I didn't know about these two guys until this guesting. They were actually music lovers who made different music video covers in YouTube. Yeah, they have their YouTube channel where their upload their song creation. And one of the songs they have created is the "Amalayer" song!   

The lyrics of the song is actually the dialogue of the LRT passenger Paula Jamie Salvosa. They even performed it live in the show.

Kapamilya Hunks Sam Milby, Rayver Cruz, Jason Abalos and Gerald Anderson's 'The Avengers' Doing Gangnam Style Video!

Kapamilya hunks namely Gerald Anderson, Sam Milby, Rayver Cruz, and Jason Abalos together with Gerald's younger brother Kenneth performed the K-Pop global hit dance craze "Gangnam Style".  But they did it wearing "The Avengers" costume!  

Rayver Cruz as Thor, Gerald Anderson as Iron Man, Kenneth Anderson as Captain America, Jason Abalos as The Hulk and Sam Milby as Superman. They call themselves “The Avergers” which is also the title of the viral video.

The said viral video was featured on ABS-CBN's news program, "Bandila" last Friday night

The photo above where they were wearing "The Avengers" costume was shared by Rayver Cruz via his Twitter account! The act was part of Star Magic’s Teleserye Princes US tour last week in Los Angeles, California. (RCB)
