How David Licauco Celebrate the Chinese New Year

Welcome to the Year of the Earth Pig!

As I continue to spread good vibes and prosperous new year in line with the 2019 celebration of the #CNY, let me share with you another exciting blog post.

For the second time around, I met my Chinoy brother David Licauco. Yeah, he is now one of the most promising hunk heartthrob in the Kapuso network and is one of the lead stars of their newest romcom TV series "Toda One I Love" joining Kylie Padilla  and Ruru Madrid.

Just like yours truly, David is a Chinoy. He is a half-Pinoy and a half Chinese. His mother is the Chinese while his father is a Filipino.

Since we're both Chinese, David and I talked about the 2019 Chinese New Year  or the CNY. David shared their traditions. How did David celebrate the Chinese New Year? What are the beliefs they were following? Well, let's watch my vlog video interview with him:

Reaction Vlog: Old Daniel Padilla in the KFC TVC

The KFC Philippines TV commercial gets more and more exciting as they introduce different actors portraying the iconic character of Colonel Sanders.

In the series of their TVC, we had Ronaldo Valdez, Leo Martinez, Albert Martinez, Pen Medina, and Christopher De Leon who played Colonel Sanders.

But in the recent TVC, it eventually turned as the most trending topic when the King of Hearts Daniel Padilla portrayed the role. Yes, Daniel, a 24-year old actor is the youngest PH's Colonel Sanders. The TVC made him look old with a gray hair, an eye glass wearing the all-white signature attire of Colonel Sanders.

And since the said KFC TVC went viral with interesting new look of Daniel Padilla, I made a new reaction vlog for this.

But did you know that it's not only DJ who portrayed the youngest Colonel Sanders? Well as I've discussed in my vlog, in China's KFC, there is a K-POP Luhan  who also portrayed the same role. On the other hand, its rival food chain McDonalds tapped the other K-POP artist Kris Wu to endorse their chicken product! 

In addition to this, in Nashville, there's the lead star of the TV series "Mad Men" who also played the role and a female American singer who also dressed like Colonel Sanders.

Watch: Unboxing and Review of the Seattle's Best Journal 2019

It's time to unbox and review again another planner from a popular coffee shop. This time, it's the Seattle's Best Coffee (SBC) Journal 2019!

Yes, this is my second time to collect the planner or journal of Seattle's Best. I've started to own one last year. Since then, the SBC journal eventually turn to be my new collection in addition to Starbucks and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.

What I like most about this SBC Journal is that, it has the best cover. Their cover is usually made of leather just like this year's.

And yes, the Seattle's Best Journal is the biggest of the three coffee shop planners. As I've said, "para siyang pizza," referring to its box.

I've been an avid collector of the Starbucks Planner since 2013. From then on, it turns to be my hobby every end of the year. Watch: The Unboxing of the 2019 Starbucks Travel Organizer

For the first time, Starbucks launched their very first Travel Organizer! Yes, this is in addition to their usual planner which already became our yearly hobby every end of the year.

And since this is new to us, this is the first planner I've collected for 2019. Thanks God, I've got it on the second week of November 2018 and was the first I've unboxed.

As you can see, I've grabbed the teal one. According to the coffee shop, this is more in-demand than the orange one.

The tradition of collecting stickers and stamps for the planners is on-going! Who among you are collecting stickers and stamps for the 2019 Planner of Starbucks, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf,  and Seattle's Best? Well, count me in! I'm collecting stickers and stamps to have the three planners of these three coffee shops.

Yes, I've already got my 3 2019 planners of SB, CTBL, and SBC and 1 travel organizer of SB which were already unboxed in four different videos. But before I showcase them all, let me first feature here in my blog and vlog of my three coffee shops cards and stickers/stamps.
