#ThrowbackThursday: A Back-to-Back Event as a Runner and as a Blogger

It was same day last year, January 26 when I had a back-to-back event as a runner and as a blogger! 

Morning of that day, I ran an ultramarathon, an 80KM 4-man relay for Run for Roger in Laguna. Afterwards in the afternoon, I had a blogcon with the Star for All Season, Gov. Vilma Santos for their 2016 movie "Everything About Her" in the Star Cinema office, ABS-CBN. 

That was two of the great moments last year to look back today. Time is really running so fast... 01/26/2017 (RCB)

#ThrowbackThursday: The Starbucks Planners Then and Now

It's a season of Starbucks Planner once again! And yes I admit, yours truly is now an avid collector of this cool planner since 2013. This year will be my third time to get crazy in collecting stickers for this planner.

As I've told you in my month-opener post, I will share with you my daily coffee moment to gather those stickers for the planner. But before that, let's compare first the last year's Starbucks Planner versus the 2016 planner as part of our #ThrowbackThursday segment. Here they are:

Honestly speaking, last year's designs were far better than this year's. Agree?

The current designs were so simple. They were categorized into colors and sizes - 4 colors (white, green, black, and red) and 2 sizes ( 2 smalls and 2 bigs). The two smalls were thicker since pages were according to days while the 2 bigs were according to weeks.

But what made this year's designs different from the previous is that Starbucks collaborates with the Italian notebook brand, the Moleskine.

What more can you say about the last year and this year's designs?

One thing is sure... yours truly is up again to collect stickers to grab my new Starbucks 2016 Planner. And I will definitely keep you posted! (RCB)

#ThrowbackThursday: Believe in 'Forever' with Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil

This was exactly one year ago during the launch of their very first teleserye, "Forevermore" where Liza played Agnes while Enrique played Xander.

The said TV series turned so successful making LizQuen a popular and favorite loveteam. Following the said teleserye are their movies namely "Just the Way You Are" and the recent "Everyday I Love You." (RCB)

#ThrowbackThursday: "My Husband's Lover" Days with Tom Rodriguez

Exactly two years ago, Tom Rodriguez got his breakthrough role in Primetime TV series as Vincent Soriano in GMA's teleserye, "My Husband's Lover."

During our set visit in Vincent's car shop, Tom revealed how challenging the said character and why he accepted the said role of a bisexual male.

Today, Tom returned in Telebabad playing another iconic role - Sergio Santibanez in the Kapuso's 2015 remake of "Marimar" pairing him to Megan Young.

My last meetup with Tom was just this July 2015 during the Kapuso 65TH Year Anniversary Celebration in MOA Arena. Here is our photo together during the said event:

#ThrowbackThursday: "The Janitor" Days with Dennis Trillo

It's another #ThrowbackThursday today. And for this day, let me share with you our #tbt moment with Dennis Trillo one year ago.

Here is one of our cool photos together:

That was during the blogcon of Dennis' Cinemalaya's award-winning movie, "The Janitor" where he played a secret agent camoflauging himself as a janitor.

This year, I met Dennis again for his romance film with Maja Salvador and Richard Yap called "You're Still the One."

And of course, Dennis now portrays the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) icon, Felix Manalo.

Great one Dennis! You're truly a versatile actor of the country. Hope to see you again! (RCB)

Let's start our #ThrowbackThursday with my awards night photo with the man behind the hit song "Pare Mahal Mo Raw Ako," Michael Pangilinan.

I first met Michael last year during the ABS-CBN's "Himig Handog P-Pop Love Song" presscon. Afterwards, I often see each other in different events.
