A Glamor Night with Marian Rivera!

For the second time around, I met and mingled with the Kapuso Primetime Queen, Marian Rivera during the red carpet premiere night of their movie, "My Lady Boss."

In the movie, Marian is playing the character of a terror boss, Evelyn. She is strict and disciplinarian in the office that's why many of her officemates hate her. Until a man named Zach (Richard Gutierrez) made her heart soft!

In our second meeting, Marian is kind, jolly, and approachable. She willingly answered questions from the media with sincerity. She even showed her sense of humor as she cracked jokes making the conversation light and easy!

And of course, we posed pictures together making us a perfect pair during the night! And it seems that we were wearing same shades of attire (terno!).

"My Lady Boss" is actually the second movie together of Marian and Richard. In 2008, they were first paired in the hit movie "My Bestfriend's Girlfriend (BFGF)."  Their second movie puts a great chemistry between Marian and Richard as both of them were fit in drama and comedy!

My movie review for their film will be posted in my other blog. Right now, let's first enjoy our moment together with Marian Rivera! See you again soon Yan-yan! (RCB)

"Naruto: Road to Ninja" Unleashes Its Power!

One of the well-loved anime cartoon TV series is now conquering the big screen! And I'm one of the witness as he unleashed his power on the silver screen!

Two weeks ago, I got an invite for the grand premiere night of Naruto's movie called "Naruto: The Road to Ninja" in the Director's Cut Cinema of SM Mall of Asia. I used to be a fan and an avid viewer of different cartoons and anime TV shows way back in my childhood days that's why upon receiving the invite, I immediately RSVP the PR.

I was not able to watch the whole "Naruto" series on TV because of work and busy schedules. But I've heard good reviews from this cartoon character from my friends, classmates, officemates, and co-bloggers. Therefore, I came with my friend to watch its movie version!

The story in the movie version is different from the TV series. And yes, it's much intense and powerful specially when watching it seating on the very relaxing VIP seat of Director's Cut Cinema!

To give you a glimpse of the story, here is its synopsis:

Sixteen years ago, a gigantic demon called Nine Tails was secretly released by an unknown ninja. The Nine Tails caused grave destruction to the village of Konohagakure. In order to save the village, Minato Namikaze and his wife Kushina Uzumaki—who was the jinchuuriki at the time of the attack—sealed away the demon inside their new born son Naruto Uzumaki. This act cost them both their lives leaving Naruto alone to grow and survive in the ninja world.

Though the demon has been sealed off, the town did not enjoy the peace for long when members of a dreaded shinobi group called the Akatsuki caused chaos in Konohagakure. Naruto managed to launch a counter-attack however, he wonders why these ninjas are alive when they were meant to have died.  Naruto feels lonely of the thought that he doesn’t have any parents left to care for him and congratulate him on his success against the shinobi group. During that time, a masked man appears in Konoha where Naruto and Sakura are both attacked by the man's mysterious new dōjutsu.

Suddenly, Naruto and Sakura found themselves in a different dimension where everyone they know is acting differently. However, this got more complicated when they saw Naruto’s parents alive in that world.

And take note, we were not only watched Naruto in the movie, I even met him in person together with his counterpart! And we posed great shots as seen below:

Hahaha! But did you know that the Naruto I've met in person was a girl?! Yes, she was a girl! Did you noticed it?! She has a long black hair when she transformed back in person! That's the power Naruto unleashed!

The  said movie officially opens exclusively in SM Cinemas on April 9, 2013. The premiere night took place on April 8.

During that night, all of us truly felt that we were one of them! We joined and merged with Naruto in his quest and battle for the road to Ninja! (RCB)

Ms. Gina Pareño: From "Lola Gets" to "Lolaine!"

Finally, I met in person the very famous "Lola Gets,"  the award-winning veteran actress Ms. Gina Pareño! Ms. Gina is now playing "Lolaine," the grandmother of Coco Martin in the hit Primetime superhero TV series "Juan Dela Cruz."

Actually, Ms. Gina reunited with Coco in the said teleserye. And this is now their third TV series together! They first worked together in the 2009 hit drama series "Tayong Dalawa" where Gina grabbed the title of "Lola Gets." Year after, they once more played the characters of grandma and grandson in another hit "Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo." Now after three years, Coco and Ms. Gina reunited for this hit fantaserye.

Right after the celebrity advanced screening of "Juan Dela Cruz" in SM Megamall, I got an opportunity to talk with Ms. Gina. And here is our video clip:

Ms. Gina is really an ideal lola! Though they were only "mag-lola" onscreen, Gina really treats Coco as her real apo! Me too, I like Ms. Gina to be my lola! My lola already died 14 years ago. And yes, I'm also close with my grandma!

The character of Ms. Gina truly adds spice to "Juan Dela Cruz." She put humor to the show. Thumbs up Lola Gets! (RCB)

Meeting the 'Sosy' Girl Solenn Heussaff!

Solenn Heussaff is one of the four lead stars of the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival entry "Sosy Problems."  And I'm so glad to meet her in person during the red carpet premiere of their movie.

In "Sosy Problems," Solenn is playing the character Margaux, the daughter of the former beauty queen played by Ms. Cherrie Gil. She is the best friend of Heart Evangelista who is playing the character of Claudia.

Solenn showed her natural humor in the movie. She made people laugh in her very natural way, in her sexy way! I love the scene where she showcased her gymnastic ability!

Check out my video clip with Solenn wherein she invites you to watch the movie:

Solenn is truly 'sosy' in real life! She is beautiful and sexy in person. And yeah, she is so kind, approachable, and easy to deal with! She is much taller than me! :)

"Sosy Problems" is now hitting the theaters nationwide. This is GMA Films entry to the 2012 MMFF.  The movie gives a new flavor to comedy films. It shades new color to this year's MMFF entries!

 Nice meeting you Solenn! (RCB)

'Shake Rattle and Roll 14' and 'Sosy Problems:' A Back-To-Back Red Carpet Premiere Night!

I was able to watch and attend two of the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival entries at the same time! Yup, the two movie entries had their red carpet premiere night at the same time last Saturday, December 21, 2012. The two movies were the Regal Films' horror entry "Shake Rattle and Roll 14: The Invasion"and the GMA Films' comedy flick "Sosy Problem."

The red carpet both took place in SM Megamall at the same time (started at 7pm) but in two different Cinemas - "SSR 14" in Cinema 10 while "Sosy Problems" in Cinema 5

I attended first the red carpet of "SSR" and got my interviews with the lead stars. Afterwards, I went to "Sosy Problems" to watch the start of the movie proper. I took my interviews and picture-taking of the stars at the end of "Sosy Problems." Since "Sosy Problems" ended first, I still got the chance to watch the remaining episodes of "SRR" - the end of Episode 2 (The Lost Command) and whole of Episode 3 (Unwanted).

Yes, "talagang lagare" that night but it was truly a lot of fun! So fulfilling...!

On my next succeeding posts, watch out for my separate reviews for these two 2012 MMFF movies as well as my individual interviews and photos with the lead stars!

The two movies are now starting to hit the theaters nationwide! (RCB)

Rocky and Dingdong Dantes on the Red Carpet Premiere Night!

For the third time around, I met the Kapuso hunk actor Dingdong Dantes. This is during the red carpet premiere night of his blockbuster movie "Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles." Dingdong is also one of the producer of the said film!

I first met Dingdong in the GMA Network center during the first gala night of "Protege: The Battle for the Big Artista Break." We had our picture taking during commercial breaks.

My second meeting with Dong was during the final battle of "Protege." We didn't had a chance to have our photos together since we're both busy dealing with the final six (but I got lots of photos with the finalist then!)

Right after the final battle of the said artista reality search of GMA-7, on the night of Monday, we met once again now for the third time! And after the screening, we posed for pictorials!

I also have my photos together with Dong's real-life girlfriend, Marian Rivera. She was also there in the red carpet to support her hubby! I'll share our photos on my next post!

These were another great photos with the brightest stars!  Dong-Aki rocks! (RCB)

How It Feels Like 'Aswang!'

We are currently on the so-called "Season of Horror and Terror" as we are celebrating the Halloween, All Saints Day, and All Souls Day. Different horror stories were currently airing on the different TV stations, topics and themes of the different parties, and features on the different movies.
Now inline with the season, I will also share with you one of my horror-theme portraits!

Do you believe in the Filipino folklore "Aswang"?! Or do you already encountered in real-life these human-eating creatures of the dark?! How does it feel being an "Aswang" imagining yourself being one of them?!

Well, let me share with you my "Aswang" moments together with the "Aswang" guy who turned me wild just like him:

He made me thirst for a human flesh! He turned me salivating to eat the inner organs of a human being!

I got my best shots with an Aswang guy during the Premiere Night of "Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles."  The setup of the SM Megamall Cinema 9 depicted a 'pugad ng mga aswang' place! Dried leaves, bloody human organs, and Aswangs surrounded the venue! And I got one of the best Aswang guy to shot!

"Ang Sarap Magpa-Aswang," my recent status I had posted in my Facebook account identifying one of these photos! :) How do you love our photos?! Happy Halloween Everyone!(RCB)
