August 2014: "When It Rains, It Pours"

We are already on the third quarter of 2014. Time really runs so fast! And yes, the past months truly kept me busy with different activities!

Aside from being known as the "ghost month,"  the month of August is also known as a typhoon month. Different typhoons and habagat from the previous years visited the country every month of August.

But for me, I take this rainy month as a blessing in disguise. Therefore I titled this post as "when it rains, it pours."  Agree?!

This month, I'll share with you different things which kept me busy on the previous months. Yes, expect for running posts, events, celebrity happenings, and star-studded selfies. And of course, expect for other surprising posts here in this blog for this month of August.

Happy Chinese New Year 2014!

The year of the Wooden Horse has just been started. We are now officially starting 2014 as the Chinese New Year commenced. Since I'm Chinito with a 1/4 Chinese blood, I'm with our fellow Chinese and Chinoys celebrating the new year of the Lunar Calendar.

Well inline with the celebration, here are some of my comics moments created through bitstrips emphasizing the Chinese New Year! Let also our comic versions serve as our greetings to all of you. Here we are:

Let me also share with you a little bit trivia about Chinese New Year. Do you know that the greeting "Kung Hei Fat Choi" didn't mean "Happy New Year?!" Yes instead, it means "Congratulations, Sana Yumaman Ka!" Wow, that sounds more amazing and exciting! :)

Welcome 2014!

It's now 2014! We are now spending the first two days of the year...!!!

But before anything else, allow me to share with you all my New Year greetings! Let this first post, my very first Bits of Rocks article for the year 2014 serve as a holiday new year's greeting to everyone! Here we are:
