Meeting the Queens of the Universe

Our country, the Philippines proves that it is the land of the beauty queens! Yes, in the history of the beauty pageants, we already got four Pinays who win the prestige Miss Universe title.

Starting from Ms. Gloria Diaz in 1969, followed by Ms. Margie Moran  in 1973, then Ms. Pia Wurtzbach in 2015, and the most recent, Ms. Catriona Gray this 2018 - the Filipino people are lucky enough to have these four beautiful ladies bringing the pride and victory to our country.

But of all the Filipino people, I am the most lucky of them! Yes, because I got the privilege to meet, take a picture, and interview three of these beauty queens. Well, check this out below:

Except for Ms. Margie Moran, I already met Ms. Gloria Diaz, Ms. Pia Wurtzbach, and Ms. Catriona Gray! Let's take a look on my first photos with these three beauty queens:

Watch: My Interviews with Catriona Gray's Boyfriend Clint Bondad!

Just like our reigning Miss Universe 2018 winner Ms. Catriona Gray, her boyfriend Clint Bondad is also a hot trending topic. Yup, just like Catriona, Clint is also a model and a pageant winner who was hailed as 1st Runner Up in the 2016's Century Tuna Superbods Nation.

I've already introduced Clint in my previous post. And as promised, I will share with you my series of interview vlogs with him from 2016 the first time I met him until this year during the final competition of the Century Tuna Superbods Ageless wherein he was one of the judges during the final callback.

Meet Catriona Gray's Boyfriend, Clint Bondad!

Before I finally met our Miss Universe 2018 winner Ms. Catriona Gray last November, it was her boyfriend Clint Bondad  I've met first. Yes, it was in February 2016 when I had my first photo and video interview with Clint during the run of the Century Tuna Superbods Nation 2016.

Just like Catriona, Clint is also a model and a pageant winner. He joined the 2016 edition of the Century Tuna Superbods called the Superbods Nation where he landed as the 1st Runner Up.

Since Clint is also a hot trending topic now because of the Miss Universe victory of his girlfriend Cat, let me also introduce him here in my blog. Here are my very first photos with Clint Bondad way back 2016 during the height of their competition:

Congratulations Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray!

For the 4TH time around, the Philippines bagged the Miss Universe title! After Ms. Gloria Diaz (1969), Ms. Margie Moran (1973), and Ms.Pia Wurtzbach (2015), here comes Ms. Catriona Gray!

Catriona Elisa Magnayon Gray, a 24-year old Filipino-Australian was crown as the Miss Universe 2018 in the grand coronation night held at Bangkok, Thailand, December 17, 2018.  

I've already posted the winning stories and article of Catriona in my other blog, the TV Series Craze. For now, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate her by sharing my photo with her. Here it goes:

Yes, that was my first photo with Catriona on the last week of November 2018 before her flight in Bangkok, Thailand to compete for the said prestige pageant. I've sent my good luck to her after that photo. And I've said, she will be coming home owning the Miss Universe crown. And that turns into a reality today!

Catriona's success in this Miss Universe pageant is another inspiring story. Two years ago, she failed to win the Miss World crown. But she didn't lose hope. She joined in the other competition, in this Miss Universe pageant reinventing herself until she finally got the victory!

Catriona has a similar story with our 2015 Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach who loose three times in Miss Universe pageant but keep on trying and trying until she finally crowned as the queen of the universe!

Once more, congratulations Ms. Catriona Gray! You make us proud, the Philippines, and the whole world...the universe rather! 12/17/2018 (Bits of Rocks)
