Rocky Interviews Robin Padilla for "Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo" (Video)

For the second time around, me and Robin Padilla participated in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).  Last year we were both together for the award-winning "10,000 Hours" and this year for the historical "Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo."

Yours truly got a chance to have an exclusive interview with this Philippine movie idol. We talked about his current movie entry to the 2014 MMFF wherein he played the famous Filipino hero Andres Bonifacio.

In my interview, he revealed interesting  facts about the movie. As per him, the movie is more on entertainment rather than historic. The movie is also made with a modern touch.

Here is the full video of my exclusive interview with Robin together with the people behind the film. Let's watch this:

The movie is really worth watching! Congrats idol Robin Padilla for playing such another remarkable role. Until the next MMFF! (RCB)

#Throwback2014: "Once a Merman"

Mermen and mermaids also became a trending topic in 2014 as ABS-CBN made they own TV series version of Mars Ravelos' "Dyesebel." The title role was played by Anne Curtis. But in the said TV series, it also gave rise to the mermen played by the hunk actors like Albert Martinez, Markki Stroem, Jay Gonzaga, Rigor Gorospe, and Sam Milby.

Yours truly also joined the bandwagon. Before the summer of 2014 ends, I also became a merman with a blue tail.

Check out some of my photos during my once in a lifetime merman experience:

Will my character as a merman be included in my 2014 yearend list?! Well let's find out in my Yearender Report to be posted before 2014 ends. (RCB)

2014 is also the year when I took part in an advocacy. Yes, I became the so-called Online Champion or ambassador of the NGO, Habitat for Humanity.

Habitat for Humanity is actually an organization which help builds home for the needy.

We had our pictorial / photoshoot for Habitat which they will use for the posters, billboards, and online campaigns. And here are some of our behind-the-scene (BTS) photos for the organization's different campaigns :

One of the campaigns was the Habitat's Christmas program dubbed as the "Pamaskong Handog" wherein they solicit donations to give as a Christmas gift for the homes of the needy.

This is one of the significant events I participated with this 2014. Find out more on my 2014 Yearend Report to be share soon. (RCB)
