Marion Aunor Narrates the Story of Feeling Inlove and Brokenhearted in Her Songs!

Love really makes every person inspire to be creative. Whenever we fall inlove, we are inspire to sing, to write a song, or even compose a poetic article to narrate the feeling we were experiencing. Or the other hand, if we are brokenhearted, we are getting emotional keeping us to write or release the feeling of bitterness in many other ways. Well in my case, I experienced those two things pertaining to love!

In case of Ms. Marion Aunor, the "Himig Handog P-Pop Love Songs" third-place winner, she can write her own song both when inlove and when brokenhearted! I've asked her if what is easier for her to write a song, when inlove or when brokenhearted. Her answer was both! That's why in her self-titled album, two songs there pertained to the opposite feelings of love. Her carrier single called "If You Ever Changed Your Mind" which paved way for her to win in the competition is all about heartaches for the brokenhearted persons. On the other hand, her song "Take a Chance" tells the story of falling inlove! She gave samples by singing these songs during her bloggers conference in ABS-CBN's ELJCC building.

Yes, Marion sings very well! "Ang lamig at ang ganda ng boses." Her voice is really perfect in any occasion. And good to know that she's already the newest addition to the Star Magic family! "I'm happy that I get to work with artists from Star Magic. I'm looking forward to be doing concerts with them too,"  the singer expressed.

When I asked Marion if who is her favorite international artist whom she wants to do a collaborative song with, she said Jason Mraz.

Here is a video clip of my interview with Marion during the blogcon:

And here is Marion giving us a sample of her song "Take a Chance:"

By the way, Marion Aunor is the niece of the superstar Ms. Nora Aunor. Wow, a blood of talented artist is really flowing on her!

With her looks and talents, definitely Marion is a big thing in showbiz! Aside from singing, no doubt to see her soon in movies, TV series, or even in different product endorsements!

Congrats Marion and more power! Two thumbs up to your talents! (RCB)

What's Next for My 2014?!

2013 has been concluded. It was indeed a 'bitter-sweet' year for yours truly. A combination of good and bad things collided but still the good ones prevailed! Now this 2014, what should I expect?!

Chinese horoscope predicted that the year 2014 was not a good year for me. Bad lucks should be expected. Hmmm...is this the reason why on the first week of January I was crying?! Yup, "simula pa lang ng taon todo iyak na ako...!" Hope that it wouldn't prolong!

Every start of the year, I always share with you  my top list of goals or resolution or to dos for the year. Last 2013, I gave you my "Go 13 for 2013."  Majority materialized but some failed! This year, I'll make a difference!

For this year, I wouldn't make a list of top things to do. Come what may! "Ayoko munang pangunahan kung ano ang nakatadhana!" But definitely, I'm expecting for good things to come on my way. Let's enjoy then  2014 (though I'm unhappy right now writing this post). Chinese new year is yet to come, the year of the Wooden Horse is yet to conquer! (RCB)

Why Kim Chiu and Xian Lim's Tandem (KimXi) is the Hottest in Philippine Showbiz?!

The loveteam of Kim Chiu and Xian Lim popularly known as KimXi is undeniably the hottest loveteam today in Philippine showbiz! Their tandem in TV series or in movies were really top-rating and blockbusters! Even in the text votes or online poll surveys, KimXi is always the winner! Well, what do you think is the reason why their loveteam is very successful and emerge as the hottest?!

During the Bloggers Conference of their upcoming romance-comedy film "Bride for Rent,"  I've asked Kim and Xian about the 'secret' of their loveteam success! According to them, the best key is their fans and supporters!

Yes, because of the undying supports of their fans, KimXi emerged on top! They were one of the reasons why their loveteam is always trending in the social media, why they always won on different polls, why their different TV series were successful and top-rating, and why their films were blockbusters!

Because of their fans, KimXi will not exist! Therefore Kim and Xian were very thankful to them! They appreciate the sacrifices and hardships the fans underwent just to show support to their idols. Here is the video of Kim and Xian during the blogcon where they expressed their thanks and appreciations to their fans:

Aside from their fans, for me, I think the other reason why the Kim-Xian tandem sells like a hot cake is their chemistry and Asian looks! Since Kim and Xian are both Chinese or should I say both chinito  and chinita, they look good and perfect together! Putting them together in one TV show or movie seems like watching your favorite Koreanovela or Asianovela! And yes, they were also a perfect recipe to a romance-comedy genre of movie or TV series! That's the reason why "My Binondo Girl," "Ina Kapatid Anak,"  and "Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo?" were very much successful!

Under the direction of Ms. Mae Czarina Cruz, "Bride for Rent" is set to hit the theaters this Wednesday, January 15, 2014.

What other things do you know made KimXi a very successful loveteam in this present generation?! (RCB)

Movie Review: 'Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy' Proves Vice Ganda's Versatility!

And the fourth 39TH Metro Manila Film  Festival (MMFF) 2013 movie that we watched is no other than the Star Cinema and Vice Ganda's starrer, the comedy film "Boy Girl Bakla Tomboy!"

Well, the reasons why I decided to watch the said movie is first, to see how Vice Ganda portray the four different characters with four genders; second, to see why it was defeated by "My Little Bossings," and third, to compare this movie against his last year's top-grossing "Sisterakas!"

What I love most about this movie is the talent of Vice Ganda to portray four different roles with four different genders! In the movie, Vice's characters were quadruplet! He was able to give life to the girl named Girlie, to the boy Peter, to the gay Mark, and to the tomboy Panying! Even though the four characters were played by only one actor, we can easily distinguish one from another! "Hindi mo masasabing si Vice lang mag-isa ang gumaganap ng isang role!" For me, of the four characters, I love the girl and the tomboy! Yes, "ang galing-galing gumanap ni Vice na girl at tomboy!" "Sa bakla normal lang  kase niya 'un, 'ung boy medyo pilit pa at di ako convinced." But the girl and the tomboy characters, perfect! Vice played them very well!

Yes I admit, I love to watch a movie or TV series with dual or triple roles! That's why I love the teleserye of Claudine Barretto before which was "Saan Ka Man Naroroon" (1999) where she played the triplet Rosario, Rosenda, and Rosemarie; the TV series of Lorna Tolentino before which was "Kaytagal Kang Hinintay" (2002) where she played the twin Lorea and Lorinda; and the Coco Martin's hit action-drama serye "Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin" (2011) where he portrayed the twins Javier and Alexander! "Tamo kabisado ko pa! Hahaha!" And yes, if I was given a chance to play a character in a movie or in a TV series, I want the dual role, the twin where one is bida  and the other is kontrabida like what Coco Martin played in his teleserye!

The movie is also full of fun! You will laugh in every scene of Vice Ganda! Very natural the way he cracked jokes! It seems like you're watching "It's Showtime" and "Gandang Gabi Vice!" The movie has a touch of live comedy!

Here is the full trailer of the movie:

I also love the theme song of the movie! It's "Whoops Kirri" which is revived by Vice Ganda himself! "Ang kulit lang!"

Here is the music video of their movie's theme song. The music video will truly give us a four-times of laughter!

I also observed that Vice's four characters were inspired by four different celebrities. The girl depicts Ruffa Gutierrez,  the boy is the K-Pop G-Dragon,  the gay definitely is no other than himself, and the tomboy is either Charice or Aiza Seguerra! Agree?!

The story also have a simple plot just like "My Little Bossings." "No kidnappan, no barilan," unlike the traditional Pinoy comedy films we used to grew up with!

It is also family-centered. In a way, we can get moral values in the story - the essence of close family ties! Whatever happens, your family will always be your family! "Kayo-kayo din ang magtutulungan sa huli"  Acceptance ruled!

The negative side of the film, first, some of the casts seemed like 'wall flowers,' useless, no gravity, sayang! Just like the characters of Cristine Reyes, JC De Vera,  and Ejay Falcon. Though we all know that they were already big stars, they look like supporting casts, or better say, "nagmukhang 'in special participation' lang sila sa movie! Lack of significant roles in the movie. What more, the love team of Bobby Andrews  and Angelu De Leon, "nagmukhang pang-display!" They may play better roles in the movie if given a chance! "Sayang ang hit love team 'nung 90's  na hinintay ng mga tao"  for a reunion movie! The worst is, "bakla pa ata 'ung role ni Bobby sa movie di pa na-emphasize ng maayos!" Maybe it's better to see that Bobby and Mark, the gay character of Vice were close friends. "Un bang bestfriend sila, magka-amiga"  since thy both gay! Or should be better if Bobby is the sidekick of the gay Vice to add more impact!

And the second thing is, "parang may kulang sa movie. Na parang may hinahanap ka pa." Not that fully satisfied although I love the happy ending in the finale! "Tsaka bakit ganun, tinanggal 'ung nunal ni Girlie sa middle part?!" "Sayang di tuloy naging makatotohanan! 'Un pa naman nagdala sa girl version ni Vice!" Too much of practical jokes in that part loosen the story!

Well if they ironed out those negative sides of the film, maybe "Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy" is No. 1 in the top-grossing race defeating Vic Sottos's "My Little Bossings!" And it will definitely surpass the success of Vice's last year's film "Sisterakas!" What do you think?!

But overall, this movie is 100% fun. It you wan to relax, laugh, and feel stress free, definitely you should watch the movie! The credit is still for Vice for effectively giving us four different characters! Two thumbs up Vice Ganda! "Ang galing mo!" (RCB)

Movie Review: 'My Little Bossings' is More on Drama than Comedy!

"My Little Bossings," one of the comedy movie entries to the 39TH Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2013 which stars Vic Sotto, Kris Aquino, Aiza Sequerra, Ryzza Mae Dizon,  and Baby James 'Bimby' Yap  is this year's No. 1 MMFF box-office film breaking the last year's dominant "Sisterakas" of Vice Ganda, Kris Aquino, and  Ai Ai Delas Alas.

I've watched the film to find out why it conquers the box-office gross though I got bored watching the trailers of the movie shown on TV and on the internet.

The first thing I found out in this movie, it's more on drama than comedy! Say, it is made of 90% drama and 10% comedy. There's a lot of drama scenes of Vic and Aiza on the movie. Even the scenes of Kris and Bimby were mostly drama and teary! The two kids Ryzza and Bimby as well as Vic and his movie sidekicks  Jose Manalo and Paolo Ballesteros handled the comedy part tickling the audience! But still, drama prevailed in the totally of the movie!

The movie is truly a family-oriented! It's perfect not only for the kids but to the whole family as well! It teaches us the importance of the family - your mother, father, and children. It shows how the parents can give everything, can sacrifice even their happiness just for their kids. This part is clearly depicted in the story of Vic and Aiza who is playing the father and daughter with a conflict; of Aiza and Ryzza who is also a mother and daughter in the film with a dark past; and of Kris and Bimby  who were not only mother and son in real life but also in the movie who will solve a threat in their lives.

The story's plot is simple. The focus is really the two kids. Just like Vic said, "walang kidnapan, walang barilan" like we always see in the traditional Pinoy comedy films. It just deals with simple conflict.

Check out the full trailer of the film below:

Well if there's missing in the movie, "kung saan ako nakukulangan," it's definitely in the comedy aspect. Maybe we can categorize this film as a drama rather than a comedy. Or should I say, a drama with a touch of comedy!

The story flow is also indeed smooth. The later part of the movie explains why Vic and Aiza's relationship is rough, why Aiza took care of Ryza, and why Vic cannot hardly accept the dead of his wife!

But the negative aspect of this movie, this is the movie with lots of endorsements! "Para akong nanunood ng isang sine ng TV commercials!" Almost every scene there is a brand promoted! A brand of soap, detergent, pasta, pancit canton, medicine, bakery, tuna, tocino, celphone, and everything in the movie were composed of endorsements! "Buti sana kung ipapakita lang saglit ung pangalan ng brand,"  but they even have dialogues and certain stars acting on it!

Kris Aquino also took a very small part in the movie. Her character seems like a supporting role note that her name and Vic's were emphasized in the billing! Hmm...maybe that's the reason why her picture was not included in the movie poster?!

In terms of acting, I give the credits to Ms. Jacklyn Jose! She can do both villain and comediane character! She reminded me of her character as Dona Charito in GMA-7's teleserye "Mundo Mo'y Akin!" On the other hand, I also commend the acting skills of Aiza in the movie. She's good in drama and "kaya niyang magpa-iyak ng audience!"

And of course, the stars related to Bossing Vic Sotto were also seen in the movie. Some of them were his rumored girlfriend Pauleen Luna; his real-life son Oyo Boy Sotto;  his nephew, the son of Tito Sotto; and his besfriend Joey De Leon!  We will be surprised if we see Wally Bayola in the movie! Hahaha!

Overall, the movie is indeed good. Perfect for the kids, perfect for the whole family! The family values depicted in the movie prevailed! (RCB)

Moview Review: 'Pagpag Siyam na Buhay' is an Extreme Horror Flick with a Twist!

I've just completed watching 4 of the mainstream movie entries in the 39TH Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2013. These include, "Boy Golden: The Arturo Porcuna Story," "Pagpag: Siyam na Buhay," "My Little Bossings,"  and "Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy." And of course, I even watched one of the new wave movie entries, the action film "Saka Saka." And yes, I will share with you my movie reviews for each of these movies. I already completed the review for "Boy Golden."

Of the said five movies that I have watched for the year, "Pagpag: Siyam na Buhay" is the No. 1 on my list! Aside from the fact that I'm a lover and a big fan of horror movies, there are certain things in the movie which made it as my No. 1 favorite!

First of all, the story is not predictable! There is a twist and mystery in the story that made the audience hook! "Yun bang, aabangan mo ang bawat eksena at hihintayin mo ang susunod na mangyayari!" Although you know that each of them will die, there is still a question in your mind if how the tragedy could be stopped!

Second, this movie really gives you an extreme horror experience! Yes, "sobrang nakakagulat at nakaka-kaba ang mga eksena" specially when they involved the Filipino tradition of "patay" and "lamay."  "Takot pa naman ako sa mga patay at sa mga lamay"  so this movie gave me an nth level of frightening experience! "Umpisa pa lang nakakatakot na"  when the movie started during the wake of the dead Enchong Dee who committed suicide. His girlfriend Empress violated some of the beliefs by wearing red in the wake and not practicing "Pagpag" therefore the ghost of Enchong followed and terrorized her!

Third, I love the twist and the way how they relate the Filipino beliefs and superstitions to the horror story. It was clearly depicted in the movie, "kung ano 'ung nilabag na pamahiin, dun namamatay 'ung lumabag." For instance the character of Miles Ocampo who look at her face on her mirror during the lamay, she died also on the mirror - "nabubog at natusok ng malaki niyang salamin sa kwarto" at the same time, a big chandelier felt on her! Also the character of CJ Navato who stole food, the sandwich on the lamay, he died via 'sandwiched' by two vehicles! Another one,  the character of Michelle Vito who cried on the coffin of the dead, she died by means of water! It is similar to the character of Dom Roque who wiped the tears of Michelle in the coffin therefore he died also in the shower room by means of water and glass!

Check out the full trailer of "Pagpag: Siyam na Buhay" below and see those things that I've mentioned:

Aside from that, the main characters of the story showed a great acting skills! Paulo Avelino's acting here as a ghost killer is superb! He is my bet for the Best Supporting Actor award. And yes, he didn't failed the expectations of audience here in the movie by giving his best in terms of acting! He reminded me of his character as Nathan in "Walang Hanggan!"

Of course, Shaina Magdayao who is playing the wife of Paulo is also great in acting in the movie. She revealed a 'bida-kontrabida' character in the story!

Kathryn Bernardo, the lead actress in the movie who is portraying Leni also didn't left behind! "Di rin nagpatalo sa aktingan ang Teen Queen of Philippine showbiz!"  She can do both drama and horror at the same time! You can really feel her swing of emotions in the movie!

And of course, I love the lead child star Clarence Delgado in the movie! He is playing Macmac, the cute abandoned child and the unknown son of Paulo and Shaina. His ka-cutan and his power to see the next tragedy even though he can't speak captured the hearts of the viewers!

The movie's target audience were teenagers, youngsters, and young at heart that's why the story revolves around the group of teenagers! But of course, they were able to combine the needs and expectations of the older viewers.

And two of the downfalls, the negative sides of this movie was first, they continue the tradition of serial killings with a pattern which reminded us of "Feng Shui," "Sukob,"  and "The Healing."  And second, I can't accept the part of the movie wherein they bring a new life to the dead people. "Nabuhay 'ung patay at bumalik na parang normal na tao lang!"  This is when the characters of Macmac and Paulo, the former dead were given new life and retain as normal people! And what is the connection of the characters of Enchong and Empress who appeared in the first part of the movie to the story of Kathryn, Daniel, Paulo, and Shaina?! It wasn't revealed in the end! These were just some of the improvements of this film but overall, this movie is one of the best!

Once more, congratulations Star Cinema, Paulo Avelino, Kathryn Bernardo, Clarence Delgado, Matet De Leon,  and to all the people behind this film for giving us another remarkable horror movie like this! Two thumbs up "Pagpag: Siyam na Buhay!" It's my No. 1 MMFF movie for 2013! (RCB)

Movie Review: "Boy Golden The Arturo Porcuna Story" Gives a New Life to Phil. Action Film!

Laguna Governor E.R. Ejercito / Jeorge Estregan made his third movie as an official entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival. After "Asiong Salonga" (2011) and "El Presidente" (2012), here comes "Boy Golden: The Arturo Porcuna Story" (2013). On the said film, he is paired to KC Concepcion

I was the one who was given the privilege (together with my date) to watch the premiere night of the said film last December in SM Mall of Asia together with the whole casts of the movie. The premiere night was truly a jam-packed! Even the sides of the cinema was full of viewers!

The movie combines the action, drama, comedy, and even suspense! It has the suspense and tragic aspect when the movie showed the harsh killing of Boy Golden to his enemies, Very brutal, very deadly!

I can say that "Boy Golden" was one of the best movies I've watched during the 39TH MMFF. It uplifted the quality of Philippine movies. Watching the movie seemed like watching a Hollywood action flick! The action was not the typical action scenes we used to watched in the traditional Pinoy action flick. It has the sense of arts and emotion!

I even love the cinematography of the movie. It has the so-called state of the art when the film gave the viewers a feel of the classic old school era. It matched the story, it matched the situation. I like the part of KC's rape scene when the cinematography turned black and white leaving only KC's lips in red!

In terms of acting, KC Concepcion is truly a revelation! Yes, "sobrang galing ni KC dito!" I was amazed that she can do action and drama at the same time! Her fight scenes were superb! I love the action scene of KC when she fought a lady in the gambling house! The effects and the fight scene seemed like an Asian action film! And "kayang makipagsabayan ni KC rito kay E.R."  knowing the fact that they have an age gap. They fit one another! I wonder why KC didn't won the Best Actress award! She deserves the title! I agree with E.R. together with the other viewers that KC should win the award!

E.R.'s acting on the other hand is also exceptional. Once more, he portrayed another interesting character apart from the previous characters he played on his first two movies. He combined action and humor in the movie! "Ang lakas ng dating ni E.R dito!

Here is the full trailer of "Boy Golden." Let's watch this and see why this movie is one of my bet in the film fest:

I wonder why this movie didn't received any awards except for the Best Float?! Why oh why?! I even bet that this one could also get the Best Picture trophy! But the awards night failed my expectations!

The movie once more relived and revived the action movie in the Philippine cinema industry. "Binuhay nito ang dating genre ng mga aksyon na pelikula na napabayaan na." It can even a best entry to Cannes or any other International movie festivals.

Well, if this movie didn't make it in the MMFF, definitely in the other award-giving bodies, it's a big winner. For me, it's truly a big hit! The story plot is not boring, it's not predictable! The totally of the movie and KC Concepcion's acting were truly commendable! I was not a fan of KC before but after watching this film, I became a big fan admiring her acting skills! "Talagang napahanga at napa-wow niya ako!"

Truly, this film  is a two thumbs up! Another great job for E.R. Ejercito for bringing another good film in the movie festival! Looking for more this year and in the coming years! (RCB)

Top 13 of My 2013: The Year of 'Bitter-Sweet' Moments!

2013 is Over!  But as part of my tradition here in my personal blog Bits of Rocks,  I always share with you my avid readers, viewers, friends, and networks my annual year ender review. Every end of the year, I wrap up the year listing down the top things which highlighted my year!

Most of the beliefs said that 13 is a bad number. It means a bad luck for many. But for me, I didn't treat 13 as an unlucky number. Instead, I treat and set it as a number of lucky charm and success. Therefore, the year 2013 for me both spell a good and not so good year for me in different aspects of life - career, lovelife, socials.

For my 2013 year-end personal report, I counted down the Top 13 things which made my 2013. Like I've said, 2013 both spelled success and failure at the same time. Hence I called it, The Year of "Bitter-Sweet" Moments.

Are you now ready to know my Top 13 of 2013?! Well, here is my list starting from top no. 13 up to the top no. 1 highlights of 2013 counting down from least to greatest:

13.) Entering a Networking Business:

Aside from my regular work in IT and career in blogging and social media, the second quarter of  2013 opened a networking business for me. I became part of the famous vitamin / optimizer networking business. For a month, I was active on the said networking business. But because of my too busy and hectic schedule, I lied low on the business in recruiting people, But, I'm still active in using the products since it's good for the health! At the same time, I'm still a retailer of the said products!

12.) New TV Appearances:

In 2012, I've appeared in various TV programs and commercials from the two rival networks such as in "Maria La Del Barrio," "Dahil Sa Pag-Ibig," "Ina Kapatid Anak," etc. But this year, more TV appearances of yours truly took place. Some of these were "Indio," "Little Champ," TV5's Blogapalooza interview, and a major live TV guesting in two of PTV4's news and editorial programs. One of these was the "Tulong Sa Bayan" hosted by Ms. Kathy San Gabriel discussing the help of blogging for the victims of Yolanda.

11.) A Struggle in the Workplace:

The first quarter of 2013 was not a good quarter for me! That was the time when I was pushed into the limits. Imagine, the day itself of my birthday, I was struggling and arguing with my new manager! Too harsh the experience was! But those things kept me stronger and brighter! Thanks for putting me on a better place!

Meeting and Mingling with Different International Celebrities

A Year of Collections and First Timer!

10.) Fresh New Looks, Great New Styles:

The year 2013 even gave me a new look, a new style in terms of fashion and appearance. Yes, this year, I tried different variations of my hairstyles inline with the latest trends in fashion. My current haircut now is the hit Mohawk! I've tried different variations of it including the one with shave marks. And of course aside from the haircut, I also varied my style in wearing different attires. I've showcased both from formal to rockstar taste of fashion! I even imitated the dress style of Tom Rodriguez and Dennis Trillo from their hit soap.
9.) The Year of the 'First Time:'

2013 was really a year of all the first time! Yes, many things I had and I did were all first time! Some of these were the following: first time to complete Starbucks stickers and collect the planner; first time to join the Project Headshot pictorial; first time to subscribe for a phone's postpaid line; first time to use an android phone; first time of consistently taking lunch out and not anymore bringing  baon in the office; first time to use Instagram; and first time to get addicted, collected and completed the set of Smurfs little toys! Of course,  collecting of Coca-cola glasses, magazines, and calendars was still practiced.

 8. ) Many New International Encounters:

My celebrity hobby leveled up for this year! Aside from our local stars, this time, I encountered and mingled more with the foreign celebrities! This year, I met the following international celebrities: Apl.De.Ap; Chris Cayzer; The Chippendales; the Glee Stars Becca Tobin, Melissa Benoist, Jacob Artist, and  Dean Geyer; our very own  Charice; and the legendary 80's singer Patti Austin. I even met again the Thai heartthrob Mario Maurer during the premiere night of his new movie "Pee Mak" but sad to say, I didn't got a chance to have a picture with him! I also met different international models from the different events.

Cats and Kittens as the New Member of the Family!

Friends, Teams, Groups and Networks!

7.)  New Gadgets and Appliances for the Year:

This year, I was able to bought new gadgets and appliances. Some of these were a new Samsung S3 Android phone replacing my qwerty Samsung phone; a new tablet; a new radio component for our sala; and a 20" LED state-of-the art TV for my room. We even bought some other small things for ourselves in addition with.

6.) New Cats and Kittens as the New Member of the Family:

Aside from our big male cat Macmac who started to live with us as a visitor last 2012, this 2013, we adopted more new cats and kittens. It stated with the mother-cat Choleng who gave birth to first three white kittens namely Nini, Nunuy, and Buboy. After months, it gave birth again to another five new kittens. Two of which died. The remaining three plus Nini were given to my friends. Then earlier in December, Choleng once more gave birth to nine new baby kittens, her new babies from Macmac. Some died while we gave the others. Only one of them remained to us, a baby girl tiger-like kitty. All in all, we are taking good care to five cats in our home!

5.) More Active and Dominant in the Social Media:

2013 made me more active in Social Media! Aside from blogging, more new social networks of yours truly opened up! I created my personal Instagram account last September. Then, I opened up my Sound Cloud account where I share my cover versions of the different songs. I even have now my Foursquare account where you can find me in different places. Aside from my personal YouTube Channel, I created another one named Vids of Rock this time containing events, happenings, and other interesting things.  You can also read the comics version of myself via Bitstrips. Of course, I'm still active and kicking in Twitter and Facebook. You can follow me on Twitter and Instagram via my username @rockenroll_04.

This blog, the Bits of Rocks even celebrated its 5TH Year Blog Anniversary last March 2013.

4.) More New Events

We can say that, "inuulan ako ng events" this year! Yes, more new events and invites were pouring! I got new and different invites from the different PRs ranging from a simple one to a prestige big time happenings! Even though some "insecure" personalities keep on pulling me down, I still got the lucks and blessings! I even managed to surpass them!

The Three Seasons of My Lovelife

Some New Gadgets, Appliances, and Valuable Things for the Year!

3.) New Friends, New Team, New Barkada:

This year, I met new friends, I became part of new group, I expanded my networks! I got found friends from the different events I have attended and from my team and workplace itself! I even found new love. I enjoyed new friendships!

2.) New Working Environment:

Earlier this year, I suffered! But on the mid-part up to the last, I enjoyed and emerged on top! The tragedies I've experienced in this aspect of my career seemed a blessing in disguise. God put me on the better one. He leads me to a brighter path. Now I'm enjoying what I have - the people, the friends, the place, the position, and the range!

1.) Three Seasons of Love

And now we are down to my top list, the No. 1 spot in my Top 13! And yes, this part is the hardest one to write! Sorry, but this one really spelled my 2013. It drove me crazy I guest! If in 2012, I got three relationships at the same time (yes as in sabay-sabay), 2013 then served as my karma! This time, not once nor twice, but thrice! Yes, three times I got three different love stories but of one similar plot! Hence they were termed as Season 1, Season 2,  and Season 3. It seems nakiki-uso yata ako sa trend ng love stories ngayon...!!! Earlier in January 2013, my siomai-serye reigned the social media (Season 1). It was eventually replaced by a new one in May 2013, the most silent of the three (Season 2). Until the mid part of the year 'till the present was dominated by the third one (Season 3). Take note, all of them have one letter in common! Can you guest what letter is this?!

But of course, my 2013 didn't only rotate to these three seasons. Last March 2013 before Season 2, I got a one-month long relationship (mala-Cristine at Derek lang ang peg) but didn't prosper to last! The first movie that we had watched was "It Takes a Man and a Woman" therefore that movie specially the theme song spoke something in my heart.

And that concludes the year that was, my Top 13 of 2013! It was really a Bitter-Sweet! In both the love and the career aspects, it combined the sweetness and bitterness! Sorry, I can't disclose any names for privacy and confidentiality purposes! Looking forward, for the best this 2014! Happy New Year to all! (RCB)
