The Epic Finale of the 'Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn' Part 2!

"The End is the Beginning of Forever!" This is how the final book of the hit vampire movie called the "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2" is described. This is an epic finale which truly excites the viewers worldwide!

I was so thankful that I got my free movie invites (for two) for the grand premiere night of this huge hit movie in the country. And not once but twice! Yeah I received two movie invites in two different venues in two different nights! Great! So I truly enjoyed my experience watching the film in the prestige big screen!

Here are two of the great official movie posters of the said movie:

The movie didn't failed our expectations! All of the ingredients which put the Twilight Saga in great success were present in the movie - romance, action scenes, super powers, special effects, most-loved characters, and unexpected twist in the end!

The movie started with Bella Swan-Cullen (Kristine Stewart) now being the newly converted immortal vampire. She is craving for blood and supposed to drink the fresh blood of human in the mountain. But thanks to her better-half Edward Cullen (Robert Patinson) who trained her the proper discipline being a good vampire.

The story progresses emphasizing how the vampires will protect their half-human half-vampire daughter Remenesse. The traditional vampires believe that a child born half-human half-vampire is a great threat to their clan as s/he possesses great powers that could defeat them! But Remanesse is not that kind. Therefore Jacob (Taylor Lautner) together with the werewolves and vampires were up to protect her!

Here is the full trailer of the movie. Let's all watch this:

The battle between the group of vampires with their enemies is the part I love much in this movie! I see the cooperation between the werewolves and vampires to achieve their one goal. But so sad that an important character in the film sacrificed his life which triggered the great fight!

But the ending is so surprising! Yes, you will get shocked after the battle! It will make you say, "Akala  ko 'un na...!" That loud scream was heard all over the cinema!

I wouldn't be a spoiler for this movie so I will not tell everything about it. It's for you to watch and find out! I'm pretty sure, you'll be satisfied after watching it together with your love ones!

SM Cinema Exclusive or SM CinExclusive also treated many of us in this epic movie finale during its premiere night! Cool! (RCB)

My Choice for the Netizens' Choice Awards for Most Favorite TV Station is...

TV is truly part of every Filipino's life. It seems that our day is incomplete without television. News, TV series, documentary programs, or entertainment shows were all provided by TV every day.

I admit that I am an avid television fan. Even though I'm always in front of my laptop in my room, I still didn't forget to tune in to my favorite TV station.

Thanks that the three widely followed blogsites namely the LionHearTV, the Showbiznest, and the Starmometer came up with a writing project called the Netizens' Choice Awards which gives recognition to the TV networks and TV programs via results of the netizens' online votes.

This blog which is Bits of Rocks is choosing the Kapuso network, GMA-7 to be the "Bloggers' Choice for the Most Favorite TV Station.

You may wonder why me, a homegrown Kapamilya is voting to its rival network, it's simply because, I'm putting my eyes on the other side of competition.

GMA-7 is best in giving documentary and news program. This is their strength which other networks can't surpass. That's why their documentary and news programs always triumphant in the different worldwide competitions like in the New York Festival. They even started the very first news channel free on local TV which is the NewsTV Channel 11.

I am a born journalist way back in my school days. From elementary to college, I became an editor in our school newspapers not to mention that I became a successful Managing Editor for four consecutive years in our College official publication. That is the reason why my heart is for GMA-7 for this aspect of broadcasting. Their strength in delivering news and documentary programs is the one that I very much appreciated.

On the lighter side, did you know that my first celebrity photos (using a digicam) took together with the GMA-7 anchors?! Yup, that were my photos with Rhea Santos and Ivan Mayrina way back in 2004 during one of our publication's events! I posted those photos in the previous social networking site Friendster. Hopefully I can share them again with you here in my blog!

GMA-7 also gave justice with great special effects to telefantasyas like "Mulawin" and "Darna" (2006) on TV which paved way to my College love-life patterned after Angel Locsin  and Richard Gutierrez!

These are some of the reasons why I bet for GMA-7 in this category? How about yours?! Can you share it with us?! (RCB)

24 Good Things About '24/7 in Love!'

"24/ 7 in Love" is the biggest movie offering of the year which combines the brightest and the biggest stars of the country. This is Star Magic's treat to its 20 years success being the country's strongest and No.1 talent center.

The movie is now a box-office hit! On its first day of showing last November 21, 2012, it earned a whooping Php10 Million! People were truly captivated by the movie!

Well, I have list down the reasons why "24/7 in Love" is a good movie to watch and why people were falling in love with it.

Here are the 24 Good Reasons to Watch "24/7 in Love:"

1.) This is the very first time in Philippine Cinema that there is a movie with 7 Episodes! Before, we  used to love movie in trilogy or in 3 episodes (like the "Shake, Rattle, in Roll" series). Until Star Cinema started a movie with 5 episodes ("Cinco") and now they pioneered a 7-Episode movie via "24/7 in Love." It's another breakthrough in the history of Philippine movie industry!

2.) Another first movie which brings together the 15 biggest and the brightest stars of the country. Piolo Pascual, John Lloyd Cruz, Angelica Panganiban, Bea Alonzo, Zanjoe Marudo, Xyriel Ann Manabat, Zaijan Jaranila, Maja Salvador, Diether Ocampo, Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Pokwang, Sam Milby, Gerald Anderson, and Kim Chiu were all in the leading roles! And take note, billing is not an issue among them!

3.) The movie is not all about an ordinary love story. Instead, it gives life to 7 different love stories such as friendship love, puppy love, age-doesn't matter love, genderless love, love with no status, true love, and love of work to name a few!

The Life-Sized Photo Boards of the Lead Casts

Before Meeting These Brightest Stars on the Premiere Night!

4.) The movie features a real-life love teams like Zanjoe Marudo-Bea Alonzo and John lloyd Cruz-Angelica Panganiban.

5.) The movie also features the hottest and the most-loved love teams in the country namely the KathNiel (Kathyrn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla) and the Kimerald (Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson).

6.) The movie marks the very much awaited reunion of Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson. Kimerald was last seen in the movie "'Till My Heartaches End" two years ago. Fans were truly missing them together. Their episode in the movie was the strongest and well-supported by viewers!

7.) The movie is experimental! It gives chance to paired for the first time Pokwang and Sam Milby and Dither Ocampo and Maja Salvador. Yup, the two pairs were not yet paired before in either movie or TV Series Projects! Their chemistry as pairs were all tested in the movie!

8.) The movie gives another challenging role for the country's Ultimate Heartthrob and Leading Man Mr. Piolo Pascual. Piolo's character in their episode is extra-ordinary as he portrayed a 35-year old man having a mind of a 7-year old. He removed for the meantime his hunk and sexy hot image to give justice to his character!

9.) Aside from Piolo, Zanjoe Marudo was also given a challenging role in the movie as he played a gay-role in the movie. This is also his very first time to play the said role in the big screen although he was seen before playing gay characters in some segments of "Banana Splits."

10.) The movie pays tribute to the hit OPM music. Yes, some of the classic OPM love songs we used to love before were used as OST in the different episodes of the movie. Some of these were "Bakit Di Totohanin," "Mr. Cupido,"  and "Nanghihinayang."

11.) The movie is hemmed by four young directors namely Mae Cruz, Dado Lumibao, John-D Lazatin, and Frasco Mortiz.

A Creative Movie Poster of the Movie!

12.) The country's most-love Prince of Indie Films turning Mainstream Primetime Actor Coco Martin has a special part in the movie. Though he only played a cameo role in the film, his character is very significant as he portrayed Dante. Loud screams followed when he appeared in one of the episodes of the movie.
13.) For the first time, comedy actress Pokwang will have a bed scene! Yeah, she is so lucky to have different sexy scenes with the country's hunk rockoustic actor Sam Milby!

14.) The movie also serves as a 'hunk fest!'  You will ask for an extra rice as the Star Magic hunk actors (except for Piolo Pascual) namely Sam Milby, Zanjoe Marudo, Diether Ocampo, and Gerald Anderson exposed their sexy yummy hot bodies in their respective episodes! Sizzling!

15.) We love the way how the 7 stories in the movie were interconnected in the end. You will see how the stories will related to each other in the finale.

16.) The movie offers all the genres - drama, comedy, action, romance, sexy. Each episode gives a unique flavor which differs the story from one another!

17.) Each story in the movie leaves a lesson in life. It's not just a collection of love stories which intended to put 'kilig' in the audience. Rather, it gives something meaningful to the audience after watching the film.

18.) The movie gives equal opportunities to each Star Magic talent. Even though some of the stars already have big names, they still manage to play small roles in the movie like Coco Martin, Kaye Abad, and Joem Bascon. The movie is truly a very own Star Magic movie!

19.) The official movie poster of the movie is another best and creative poster Star Cinema ever produced. It gives equality to the stars breaking the issue of billing. And take note, there's no name of stars in the poster. The pictures speak for themselves proving how known they were!

20.) The movie also gives chance for the newbie talents to take part in the film even on its official soundtrack. Newbies Young JV and Myrtle Sarroza starred in the music video instead of giving the tasks to other big stars or singers of the talent center.

21.) The movie even produced life-sized photo boards of the 15 lead casts which is also another proofs how huge this movie is!

22.) It's good to know that the movie directors are able to put 7 stories in one big movie with equal emphasis and with equal length of time. It seems that you're having a movie marathon while watching the film since you are seeing 7 different stories!

23.) Everyone can relate to the film since aside from the different love stories featured in the film, the "end of the world" issue was also tackled! I love how the film started with Marc Logan reporting making you feel like watching a documentary-drama!

24.) And last but not the least, it's for you to find out after watching the movie!

Truly, "24/7 in Love" is another great movie from Star Cinema! Another milestone has been achieved because of this movie. Two thumbs up and congratulations to its success! Good job! (RCB)

The "Amalayer" Song Parody!

I've just watched the recent episode of "Gandang Gabi Vice" this night, November 25, 2012. And two of the guests of Vice Ganda are the Antonio brothers Isaiah and Andrai.

Before, I didn't know about these two guys until this guesting. They were actually music lovers who made different music video covers in YouTube. Yeah, they have their YouTube channel where their upload their song creation. And one of the songs they have created is the "Amalayer" song!

The lyrics of the song is actually the dialogue of the LRT passenger Paula Jamie Salvosa. They even performed it live in the show.

Here is the said video of Isaiah and Andrai uploaded in YouTube singing their very own "Amalayer" parody. Let's check this out:

Who would know that a mock incident will turn to be a good music like this?! Great job Isaiah and Andrai for creating this parody! Thanks also to Vice Ganda's blog for the photos! (RCB)

Rocky and Piolo Pascual Caught in the Video!

Piolo Pascual and I once more met for the fourth time now. And this is for his newest Star Cinema movie, "24/7 in Love." From the blogcon up to the actual screening of the movie, I'm with the country's so-called Ultimate Heartthrob

Piolo's character in the movie is very different from the characters he portrayed before. Here, he played the role of Pipoy, a 35-year old man with a mind of a 7-year old child.

His role in the movie is very challenging. He will be in a love triangle with two child stars Zaijan Jaranilla and Xyriel Ann Manabat

Here is our video with Piolo promoting the movie "24/7 in Love:"

Piolo for the meantime moves away from his hunky and gorgeous character here in this movie. But still, he showed his great acting stint for this another challenging role.

According to Ms. Mae Cruz, one of the movie directors, they gave this kind of character to PJ to show his other side. "Graduate na kase si PJ sa pagpapakilig, sa mga heavy dramas, or sa pagpapa-sexy. This role is something different," direk Mae shared.

This is actually Piolo's second time to play a mentally retarded person. We may recall that he already played before the character of a professor having a mental disability in the longest-running drama anthology in Asia, "Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK)." But here in the movie, he is portraying a 7-year old child!

Great job Papa P! You once more proved that you are country's one of the best actors of all ages! Two thumbs up! (RCB)

Pokwang and Rocky's Video for '24/7 in Love!'

This is the second time that Pokwang and yours' truly meet for a movie conference. I met Mama Pokie last January of the year during the grand presscon of her launching drama movie "A Mother's Story." Now we met again during the Blogcon of their current movie "24/7 in Love."

In our second meeting, we didn't only took our photos together. We even got our  video together!

In the video, we were inviting you to watch "24/7 in Love" which is now showing in the different parts of the country. Here is my cute 'kulitan" with Ate Pokie:

The tandem of Pokwang and Sam Milby was introduced in the film. Pokwang plays the character of a 41-year old virgin named Virgie. She met the hunk and gorgeous gigolo Sam Milby and fall in love. See how their story will be concluded in the end! (RCB)

My ISTQB Certification!

November 21, 2012 - Yes, it's exactly one year now since I had my first day here in my new office. I am now celebrating my one year anniversary!

Since November is my anniversary month, I've started to share with you some of my company stories. The latest was during our Halloween Trick or Treat.

One of the significant things that I have acquired here in my company is the ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualification Board) Certification. I've passed the said prestige International Board Examination for Software Engineering last September and I've received the formal certificate last month.

Two months ago, I've shared with you my passing moment as well as the reviews I had undergone. Now, let me share with you the sweet fruit of success, my actual certificate!

A Surprising Envelope Mailed in My Office

A Letter from ISTQB Containing the Details of My Certification

And This is My Precious ISTQB Certification!
The official certificate printed in hard board was mailed in our office. I got curious when the receptionist gave it to me since there's no address outside the brown envelope. And when I opened it, smile reflected on my face!

I produced copies of my certification as well as the official letter. Then I kept the original copies inside my treasure box! :)

Now I am proud to say that I am an International Software Engineer certified! Hope I've inspired you with my quick company story! (RCB)

Pictorial in Casino Royale!

After one year, I visited again the beautiful and socialite place of Resorts World. I first came on this grandeur mall and event center last November 2011 during my second to the last day in my previous company having my last lunch with officemates. Now, I came again for the Premiere Night of "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2" movie event.

Right after the movie, we took different shots around the place. It seems that you're in Vegas as you feel the ambiance of the place. And one of the highlights is the Casino making you feel the James Bond movie, "Casino Royale."

It seems that I'm a foreigner in one of the cities of US! The place makes me feel that I'm a tourist. I'm like an Asian exchange student! Hehehe...

I'll come again to this beautiful socialite place soon in another exciting event! (RCB)

Lee Min Ho's Bench Billboards in EDSA!

After the domination of Bench billboards of the Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine in Guadalupe, EDSA, another international celebrity is capturing the attention of many commuters via huge billboards. He is no other than the Korean Superstar, Lee Min Ho!

Four huge billboards of the "Boys Over Flower" star were now up and posted in the famous billboard area. Shot in different poses, here are the stylish billboards of Lee Min Ho:

Lee Min Ho is currently in the Philippines to grace his fans in a meet and greet event sponsored by the clothing brand which he endorses.

Lee Min Ho rose in fame in the country after leading in the different Koreanovelas namely "Boys Over Flowers," "Perfect Match," and 'City Hunter." All these TV series were shown in the Kapamilya network and paved way for him to be called as the Asianovela Superstar!

Once more, many thanks to my blogger friend Carl Valenzona for this great photo! (RCB)

Rocky and Dingdong Dantes on the Red Carpet Premiere Night!

For the third time around, I met the Kapuso hunk actor Dingdong Dantes. This is during the red carpet premiere night of his blockbuster movie "Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles." Dingdong is also one of the producer of the said film!

I first met Dingdong in the GMA Network center during the first gala night of "Protege: The Battle for the Big Artista Break." We had our picture taking during commercial breaks.

My second meeting with Dong was during the final battle of "Protege." We didn't had a chance to have our photos together since we're both busy dealing with the final six (but I got lots of photos with the finalist then!)

Right after the final battle of the said artista reality search of GMA-7, on the night of Monday, we met once again now for the third time! And after the screening, we posed for pictorials!

I also have my photos together with Dong's real-life girlfriend, Marian Rivera. She was also there in the red carpet to support her hubby! I'll share our photos on my next post!

These were another great photos with the brightest stars!  Dong-Aki rocks! (RCB)
